Chance was a longtime friend in the Acapella circuit. He was on the Sing Off in the group Streetcorner Symphony. He went on tour with them just in the background learning the gig, while Chris was won stage. He was also a good friend of Tim's wife Jenika before he met Tim. Long friendships. Old ties!

This before Chance joined the group but they were friends and asked him if he wanted to be in the video!

Adam said he has occasionally used Foley for some sounds in the recordings. Specifically, the shotgun clicks in “Folsom” are from his 12 gauge. Why not reach out and see if you can have a chat with Adam? I’d love to hear you guys geek out over tech stuff and concert set up. He did a nice interview during the EU tour.

Your reactions were SPOT ON! LOL This is really our introduction to Chance prior to him coming onboard with the group. He was in it enough that when I first saw it, I had to do my research to see who he was! There are so many older songs you've not touched yet! I love the idea of you guys hanging out with them. They are every bit as personable in person as you might think! Like I've said before, Tim has a sneaky goofy side! lol All the blessings! ❤

It’s always fun when another a cappella group member shows up in Home Free’s videos. I think Chance wears that same robe in another video. From what the guys say, all of the a cappella musicians know each other and will help each other out. Chance does have some very goofy moments but they’re often more understated than the other guys. You’ll see more of that in their Christmas videos, particularly in Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer. Thanks, Jeremy and Jillian!

Chance wasn't actually a member of Home Free when they did this video, but they knew him and he was part of the "crowd scene" even though I don't think he actually sang in it.

Chance and Jenika -- Tim's now wife -- were good friends before they each independently met Tim. Chance was part of Street Corner Symphony which was based in Nashville. I understand one of the party locations was Chance's place in Nashville. This was the year before Chris left the group, so Chance wasn't a part of Home Free yet. He was just part of the Nashville a capella scene and friend of the guys. Austin's former girlfriend, Olena, was Home Free's stylist, which is why she shows up in videos a lot.

I had forgotten that Chris and Chance were both at this party! They were all having so much fun that it was hard to pay attention to the amazing vocal arrangement. Thanks for yet another fun Fryday!

Chance is also in a Christmas video before he officially replaced Chris. I think it's "I'll be home for Christmas" or maybe it's "white Christmas"? 🤔

Another fun song by the guys. Love all their crazy costumes. Adam is wearing a Batman suit. What a mess they must have made with all the feathers from the pillow fights. This one shows Chance in the background before he joined.

The woman with Austin was his long-time g/f (about whom he later wrote "Love Me Like That", "Lonely Girls World" & "If I Met You Now"). The latter one is on his channel and the live versions of the first one are heart-breaking. This is such a fun video and, of course, the singing, harmonies & beatboxing are terrific. It's one of the few in which Chance & Chris Rupp both appear.

I recently revisited this song by them. I hadn't listened to it in a while, and I forgot how much fun it is. And Tim and Austin in the onesie pajamas cracks me up every time :) Great reaction, guys!

It’s a fun one. Yes a video with both Chris and Chance. Ninja was right, Austin’s girl was Oleana - his girlfriend before Amberly. She broke up with him and he wrote music about it. Love Me Like That is about that and is really good. Then he wrote Give Me a Sign (part of the Stargazer Lilies trilogy) he wrote (asking to find his wife) when he found Amberly. They are married now. They have onesies in other videos especially done during the pandemic. Cute stuff. Now for a sweet one with Chance singing lead is Yours. 😍🥰

There's a Christmas vid that they've done - and I can't remember the song - but it's a Christmas party at either Chris or Adam Rupp's house and it's all their families gathered together. It's so cute and the 6 of them singing in such perfect harmony is sick!!! There's a funny part too between Chance & Chris but sweet at the same time

I am so glad I didn't have to clean up after this video shoot! 😂😂😂 I think that some or all of the members of Street Corner Symphony were part of the party. (The a capella group Chance was a member of pre-HF.)

This was released in Sept 2015, well before Chance joined. It's possible that when HF auditioned for the Sing Off the third season that they met Chance because SCS was on the show that year. But Tim has said that HF was hearing reports about a "second Tim" who played the same sort of pranks, drank like Tim (used to) and sounded a lot like him before they actually met. An apocryphal story, maybe, but...And Tim also saidthat Chance was friends with Jenika before Tim was introduced to her.

This is one of my favorite covers and videos by Home Free.

Chance was still with Street Corner Symphony. I think the others were there but I don't know them enough to ID them. (I love their video for Madness) Chance and Tim's wife Jenika were friends before they even met Tim. This is one of four Home Free videos where you see both Chris and Chance. 2) What Child is This by Chris Rupp feat. Home Free. 3) In It Looks Good Chris is dancing and chatting in the background. Look for the cowboy hat on the right when the guys are at the pool table. 4) For White Christmas a bunch of friends and family gather for Christmas dinner, including Beugs and Chris.

I haven't watched this one in a long time, but it's so fun. Loved that Chris and Chance are both in it. And, yes, that was Austin's previous girlfriend, Olena, in this one. She is in a fair amount of their older videos. Thanks for the reaction!

Two things 😊 : Adam does the record scratch sound (check out one of his drum solo videos) and if you watch the video "What Child Is This", you'll see all 6 of them singing (one of the few times you hear Chris and Chance along with Austin, Rob, & Tim). I was zoning in on when Chance and Sami started dating and their story line. I thought I saw a short video with Chance and Sami where he said he picked March 17 to ask her to marry him because they had chosen that date a couple of years prior for when they became a couple.. I could be 'disremembering.' Happens all the time. Ultimately it doesn't matter to me. I know I'm kinda too obsessed with Home Free guys. All of the a capella community seem to have interacted and known of or known about one another for a LONG time. I do believe that in 2011 or 2012 ....maybe even earlier...Tim was out in LA trying his hand at being a country singer and writing and developing his 'Best That I Could Do' country album. I LOVE that album, by the way, and I think Home Free have used two, maybe three of the songs from it. Not sure how many. Heck...there's a ton of this stuff I'm not sure of. 😂😂 Don't know any details about when Street Corner Symphony started up.

My wife knows me well enough that she would never throw me a surprise party (I struggle with social situations and need to prepare myself), but that's just me! I'm very happy watching it on video! 🤣
