I just found this today and I have to agree -- the official video is by far one of the funniest they have ever done. Even if you don't react to it, it's a MUST watch!

There is now a hilarious video made last year. It’s a HOOT !!! They had way too much Fun !!!

You would get a real kick out of their video for this song. See them live if you can, there is no comparison to their live shows. Thanks for liking our guys!. Home Fry Forever!!

This live performance is even better than the studio video. I've often found that with live recordings of Home Free - their energy and interactions with the audience are special. Thank you for playing it and your commentary!

I love Home Free's version of this song, I just wish you would've watched their actual music video for it because it's hilarious! And you probably would've heard Tim better too :p Austin's high note at the end is freaking amazing! I love him. Also I'm gonna request, again, that you react to PTX's version of Praying, it'll blow your mind! Unless you've heard it already because then it's pointless. Btw they're releasing a new single on friday (from their NEW christmas album) that I hope you'll react to!!

I'll second both of those! :) Home Free has a lot of fun in the video version. PTX's "Praying" is excellent also. Another version of "Praying" I really like is the Cimorelli version. It might be fun to do a "trifecta" comparison with Kesha's original, and the PTX and Cimorelli covers. :D

Home Free is absolutely fabulous live. Totally hilarious!

I've watched a few of their live performances (on KZread) and they are masters of "practiced improvisation" in the middle of songs. Not just singers, but true entertainers.

Away in a Manger is beautifully done.

You have to watch the video also! It's totally different from the live shows. They pick on their producer Darren Rust! I laugh my butt off... They have changed it a bit over the years but the video is very different from the live performances. Check our Full of Cheer also! It's an original Home Free Christmas song. I think you'll really like that one as much as we do. Thank you, I really enjoy these. ^_^

I agree with you that the sound is a bit off, but they aren't filmed professionally, these are fan video's. Still good, and I'm grateful to all the fans who take the time to do this, and then share with all of us. The offical video is hilarious, as is theTim Foust Original..."Full Of Cheer". I am so hoping that you'll also do Amazing Grace w/ Peter Hollens. That one will give you the chills, for sure. I hope you do get to go to a live show, it'll knock your socks off.

Jerod, this was great!! I had to watch this one just because of the hilarity of the song itself. Home Free made an 'audio drama' out of this and it was sooooo great!! I would love to see the studio cut as well as the audio on this, I am sure, did not do these guys justice! They have terrific voices as well! (And I see you are going to do it -- yay!!) Nice reaction. Here’s an interesting thing. There’s another older live version of this where they sing this on a TV show and in the comments of the video the guy who actually wrote this said that he liked their version and they did a really good job.

Home Free concerts are just So Fun! I went in Austin last year and it was a blast. I hope you get to go to one someday. If they come back to Texas I’m gonna be there for sure. :)

I think it's great if you watch both live and video versions of their songs.

Oh, Tim really shakes the floor live, phones/cameras really can't capture it the way it really sounds. BTW Your hair looks different, and I like it.

Their Christmas Tour starts in November....you should see if they're gonna be any where near you

I don't know how far you're willing to travel but they'll be in Broken Arrow, OK on Dec 29. It's too bad you hadn't found them yet this past spring as they traveled around TX for 8 shows in March. Keep an eye out for their spring schedule to release later this year.

Great reaction! If you want to continue humorous Christmas, you should check out “Full of Cheer” an original from Tim. On the track by track break down they joked it was the unintended sequel to “Champaign Taste”. Fun live video is “ Guilty Pleasures (Derailed)”

Hey Jerod, nice review! I see why you chose to go for a live version here and I have to agree, it was good. The comedic performance was great and pure Home Free gold! However the audio was not (surely due to the recording quality, just like you said). I therefor would urge you to give the mv a chance aswell (it's pretty hilariouse btw, HF just know how to be fun and quirky). If not fo a vid, then at least in private. ;)
