I lost my younger sister to brain cancer this week. I have been listening to this so she found her way home where there is no more pain. She was only 58 and traded her pain for her Heavenly Angel Wings. I feel broken but also relieved. 🦋💕🙏💔🌹🇦🇺

Just lost my older brother today. This song is helping me cope. I hope that Home Free knows how much good they do in the world. It is much more than just singing! My father left to be with God in late January, and my wife of 6 years left to be with God in late May. Home Free is one of the groups that has helped me to get through this as well.

Gidster1 I agree. PTX is the best at the genre they cover. Home Free is the best at they’re genre. Compared side by side, they both set bar for acappella music. Home Free’s harmonies are definitely better in my opinion though.

Dennis Johnson ya I always love listening to Home Free more than ptx. Their only songs I like are Daft Punk, Love Again, and Hallelujah, while I love all of Home Free’s songs. It’s just that ptx came first so that’s why I think they’re more popular. Also some of it might be that they cover a bigger music genre, but Home Free does too so idk. I love Home Free with all my heart, and they will always be number 1 for me! ❤️

Made me think of my deceased son. Had a dream of him in heaven being an angel and helping people from up on high. He was 24 when he died. In my dream. He was his energetic 4 year old self saying he liked it there.

The death know not anything and death is but a sleep is what the Bible says. Man cannot become an angel. If he loved God and follows Him faithfully, he will be resurrected as Christ comes in the first coming of Christ to take his followers home. Read Revelation. Consider why anyone would be resurrected if they were already in heaven. Having said that, I realize so many are comforted by this believe. But how can anyone be in heaven without judgement first. God bless you, I also lost my sister to cancer and it took me over 10 months to recover from that pain.

Lost my Grandpa 3 years ago, he was a candidate for the Country Music Hall to sing there and be signed on. He toured with Eddie Rabbit and was singing and playing the guitar ever since he was 3 years old. He gave his life to music and when the time came, this was the song chosen to be played. I sing myself and it was the most emotional moment of my life thus far singing this song in his funeral service and thinking about him every time it plays. Thank you Home free for making a rendition of this song and sending chills and happy tears every time it is played.

She was taken from us way too soon but she was suffering with lung cancer and it was her time to be out of pain. Tears are just rolling down my my face. They also played amazing Grace your chains are gone. It’s so hard for me to listen to These songs because I have lost everyone in my family but one sister. 🥲

I recorded this for one of my CD's in the late 90's and at first it did not get too much attention but then, one by one people started telling me that it was played at their Mothers, or Brothers, or Dads, or Aunts or whatever loved ones funeral. And then I had the experience of singing it at my own Father's funeral in 2003 via CD. I could not do it live because I am so easily overcome by emotion. But what a great song Vince Gill wrote here. You guys just sing the wheels off of it just like you do everything else you sing. Bless you guys. You all have a God Given voice. Thank Him that you found each other!

My Step Mom Patty died about a hour ago. She was not well, but this was very sudden and unexpected. My relationship with her was poor for so very long, but recently had been getting much better. Time, health and distance kept us from seeing each other in person for a very long time however. Oh how I could have been able to see her in person and tell her that I loved her, that I forgave her long ago. That I was happy that she had been my Mom.

I've been listening to this song for years. So in this difficult month. My partner passed away unexpectedly three years ago. He was then sixty. Finally he had the peace that he did not have here on earth. This song makes me cry every time. Home Free sings it with so much emotion. Especially Rob's voice. Because even though I love all the voices of Home Free, I don't know why, but with Rob there is always a special feeling through my whole body. Sometimes it gives me goosebumps. And not just with this song. Also many compliments to the other members of Home Free. You guys are just too great. Please, stay together forever. You are so unity. The harmonies, the inhuman beatboxing, the background, the high and low notes, the choral sounds etc etc.

Living in a small community where if you don't know somebody, your neighbor or another friend will. Our schools, youth sports and churches brings many of us together. When you work within the community like some of us do, you make new friends every day. Today, our community learned that we lost yet another young life. The loss hit many of us hard. And as we look up to the skies and ask "Why? Why was he taken? He was so young and just started his life's journey. " we struggle to find an answer. Tonight, when this song came up on my list, it was meant to be played. Tears were shed as it played. That could have been my child. Son, rest in peace. Your life on earth will not be forgotten. May God bless you and your family.
