Good reaction. One minor suggestion would be to jump back a little when you pause so you don't miss transitions. You can't go wrong with Home free and in my opinion. They have tons of content. Everything from sad to hilarious. Their fans are called Home Fries. They lean country but do all genres. Another similar to this is "Go Rest High upon the Mountain" More just fun songs - Hillbilly Bone, Some Girls Do, Good ol' Boy Good Time, Cold Hard Cash for Christmas Lots of Holiday songs if you want to do any in the season. A favorite of mine is "Do You Hear what I Hear" Enjoy the journey!

I came out of the woodwork lol! Home Free is all vocals and they are known for their great harmonies. They have a patriotic CD called "Land Of The Free" (among many others) and have great respect for veterans and active soldiers. I hope you can check out more of them, they have loads of videos on their channel. Some covers and originals as well. They have done a couple of collaborations with the Oak Ridge Boys as well. 😉

The Home Free guys did this song so beautifully. Very haunting and so well done. Front row...Tim Foust (he did have longhair til covid hit) is the bass singer and so much more, from Southeast Texas...Adam Chance (goes by Chance) is the next in line baritone/bass, from Alabama...Back Right...Austin Brown high Tenor from Georgia...Rob Lundquist Tenor from Minnesota...Adam Rupp (Adam) beatboxer from Minnesota (sings occasionally) Amazing beatboxer, hard to find a better one. His brother Chris Rupp left in 2016, usually wears a cowboy hat or cap. Left to go single and doing well. Just a bit of fyi. You may want to try...Hillbilly Bone...a Blake Shelton/Trace Adkins original...really fun...Good Ol' Boy Good Time...fun...What We Ain't Got...a bit sad...It is Christmas time...Full of Cheer...Tim wrote it...Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer...is a hoot and a half. Just a few. Thanks for a great reaction and thank you for your service. You are greatly appreciated.

Home Free is a deep rabbit hole, they have about 200 videos. They advertise as a country vocal group but they sing all genres like Soul, R&B, Rock, Country, Inspirational and comedic/funny songs. This song is a cover of the 1985 Dire Straights hit about a dying soldier in the 1982 Falklands War. The Home Fries ( Home Free fans) are a very very loyal group that follow the reactors listening to Home Free. A few of my suggestions are, Country Roads, Go Rest High on that Mountain, Listen to the Music. They have done collaboration with some well known stars like Kenny Rodgers, Lee Greenwood, Alabama, The Oak Ridge Boys and Don McLean. Just subbed to watch your Home Free Journey. Have Fun and have a blessed day.

Plus they're independent from big name labels. They won a Sony contract in 2013 for coming in 1st place in The Sing-Off, so those songs are copyrighted. They got out from under that deal as soon as they could. They have no problem with reactors doing their music. Except for Ain't Going Down Til the Sun Comes Up, a cover they posted on Facebook, not youtube. The reactions to it are on youtube though.

Do not adjust your speakers. Not the Twilight Zone, it's the Home Free Zone, one of the best purest acapella groups out there. The bass, Tim Foust, has a 5+ octave range. You really need to watch their cover of God Bless the USA. Be sure to get their newer one featuring Mr. Lee Greenwood himself and the Singing Sergeants of the Air Force band. I heard you mention Oakridge Boys. They recorded Elvira with them as well as a Christmas song. They have collaborated with Don McLean, Kenny Roger's, Alabama and more. They are billed as country but can cover any genre with 2 of them, Austin Brown and Rob Lundquist recently recording Nessum Dorma. We fans are called Home Fries and if you start following our guys, we will come out in droves! Glad you enjoyed Brothers in Arms. Most new to Home Free will react to Man of Constant Sorrow. With Christmas coming up, they have many greats. I listened to O Holy Night yesterday!

Their music helped me through the quarantine. I saw them in concert 2 years ago. By the way, they have sung a few songs with the Oak Ridge Boys...Elvira, Beautiful Star of Bethlehem. They really are like a younger version of Oak Ridge. Check out them singing Man of Constant Sorrow.

Home Free is an amazing group that has revolutionized acapella. Some other Home Free recommendations; "End of the Road" a great Boys to Men cover and one of their best. "When a Man Loves a Woman" for a little romance. "Blue Ain't Your Color" or "Folsom Prison Blues" for a different take on country songs. "How Great Thou Art" or "Helplessly Hoping" for incredible 5 part harmonies where Adam Rupp sings instead of beat boxing. "The Butts Remix" and "Country Fried Pop Medley" for a laugh. "Mayday" but don't listen to this until after you get to know these guys. "In the Blood", "My Church", "Amazed", "Ring of Fire" and "Man of Constant Sorrow" because they are just really great songs.

The Home Free people are strong supporters of our military men and women. Thank you for your service. You can find a lot of songs in their collection dedicated to you. They also have a comedic side and you'll find that you just want to go to a barbeque with them and have a couple beers and some laughs. For collaborations and since you brought up The Oakridge Boys, definitely check out their collaboration on "Elvira". They also did "God Bless the USA" with Lee Greenwood and the USAF Band and Singing Sergeants, "Children, Go Where I Send Thee" with the late Kenny Rogers, "Don't Laugh at Me" with Mark Willis, and "American Pie" with Don McLean. Tim Foust (bass) spent some time before Home Free as a song writer and, at the time, was rebelling against his country roots so he wrote the "countriest song he could" and Home Free later recorded it as "Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget". It's a great lead in for their Christmas songs "Full of Cheer" and "Cold Hard CASH (For Christmas)" co-written by Austin Brown (tenor).

Okay, you're getting a lot of Home Free recommendations, other viewers beating me to the punch, so to speak. So I'm going to let your know that the guys also go their separate ways and come up with fantastic music outside of the group of five. Austin Brown and/or Tim Foust often perform with other friends playing instruments. Tim and Austin and friends recorded videos for My Maria and What's It To You on different spots at Austin's house. They also have a side group called Sweet + Low Music Co for when others in Home Free have other side projects or family time. Chance performs with The Hound + the Fox for some wonderful songs (under 'one' feat. 'the other' and vice versa). The Home Free rabbit has many paths and the deeper you go the more treasure you find. Although I have to be honest I think the guitar playing is phenomenal Yes, this version of Home Free will send shivers through your entire body! This is so emotional. Beautifully sung by Tim and Chance, but the background and harmony of Adam, Rob and Austin is also so beautiful. It looks like a choir or actually a kind of church organ sounds. I hadn’t heard of them either until the pandemic. I discovered them and can’t stop listening to them. They’re so good. Tim, the bass, has a 5 octave range. So he can sing super low and then sing up high with the tenors. He has an amazing range. They are all great singers and are known for their harmonies. They are a cappella so they do most of their songs without music. (There are a few songs with music). Their beatboxer is amazing and can do drums, harmonica and lots of other sounds. It’s funny you mentioned the Oak Ridge boys as they do the song Elvira with the Oaks. Good reaction. Hope you do more of them. Lots of Christmas songs both serious and silly. They also write and sing their own songs. 😀

So glad that you enjoyed Home Free, IMO they are the best a cappella group out there! To see another side of Home Free you should check out a cover song that they do called End of the Road, originally done by Boyz ii Men. You will be blown away by them I promise! Happy listening!

They have a few other songs that are patriotic or military themed : Travelin' Soldier, Go Rest High On That Mountain and God Bless The USA. The last one includes some excellent U.S. military singing groups. They do some old music in Man Of Constant Sorrow and new country style music in Ain't Goin' Down (video on Facebook only).

If you like harmonies and deep voices I'd recommend either Voiceplay or particularly their Bass vocalist himself - Geoff Castellucci. His range is pretty unbelievable, at least to my untrained ears. He has a pretty cool rendition of "Sixteen Tons" originally by ‎Tennessee Ernie Ford on his own channel here on KZread. He recorded 4 separate parts and had it mixed both audio-wise and visually (4 of him shown at once via a merging of videos) Greetings from Northern Sweden.

Just found your channel through my sub to our guys, Home Free. It's such a pleasure watching reactors being introduced to Home Free for the first time and their amazement as they get deeper into the Home Free rabbit hole. Welcome from all of us Home Fries. I'd like to suggest a few of their videos: "Elvira" with the Oak Ridge Boys "Children Go Where I Send Thee" with Kenny Rogers "American Pie" with original singer/song writer Don McLean "Helplessly Hoping" a Crosby, Stills and Nash cover "Dance To the Music" a Sly and The Family Stone cover "Ring of Fire" a Johnny Cash cover "Do You Hear What I hear" a Christmas song "Understand" their latest original I could go on for days. Looking forward to more of your reactions, especially of Home Free. Take care and blessings always.

New subscriber and great reaction, too! I love it when people discover Home Free. They are a freakishly talented group of fellas! They can make you laugh sometimes, they can make you cry sometimes but they always impress. Here's a cheat sheet on the group: Adam Rupp, co-founder of HF and the awesome beatboxer. Tim Foust, bass. He has a five-octave range. Robb Lundquist (glasses and beard) Tenor Harmony. Austin Brown, Lead Tenor. Adam Chance, Baritone ( goes by Chance). Chance replaced Chris Rupp (co-founder) who left in 2016. Take Me Home Country Roads is phenomenal but you might also want to check out Dreamer, When A Man Loves A Woman, End Of The Road, One Man Band, I Swear, Blue Ain't Your Color, Dive Bar Saints and Folsom Prison Blues. For some funny ones: Butts Medley, All About That Bass, Champagne Taste, Hillbilly Bone. For some serious ones: How Great Thou Art, Go Rest High On That Mountain. When you are familiar with all the boys and their vocal roles, do Mayday. They have recently released several new songs that you will want to check out. Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole!

Home Free has been around for a while and they are absolutely fabulous. Please go and explore the rabbit hole that Home Free can be and want to see your subscribers just soar? Home Fry's are devoted to hearing Home Free and all the reactions. Do yourself a favor though...don't do Mayday by them right off the bat. You need to listen to more of them like Man of Constant Sorrow, Mary Did You Know, How Great Thou Art and a lot more first. I subscribed to see how much you will continue with the journey.....lots of us will be watching. I mean this video has had 2.3k views and you don't have that many subs yet. Should speak volumes to you!!! Enjoy!!!!!

You're going to get a lot of suggestions for some of their classic older videos, but I'd like to suggest a more recent one -- Workin' for a Living. It's the current lineup with close to their current appearances (though Adam Rupp is growing his hair out right now). You get to hear all the singers but it features their baritone, Adam Chance, who's not featured in most of the songs that get recommended to reactors (which is a shame because he has a gorgeous, smooth, smoky voice). Adam Rupp, their beatboxer, shows off his stuff. It's a fun, upbeat video to give you an idea of their emotional range contrasted to this one. And as a bonus, the video provides you with all their names at the start, which is quite useful when you're first getting to know the group.

Home Free one of the best Acapella groups on earth. Very patriotic, sings just about everything. You mentioned Oak Ridge Boys, they got together and did Elvira. You need to hear that.. That lower bass is Tim Foust. The other baritone/ bass Adam Chance called Chance. Tenors Rob Lindquist beard. High tenor .. Austin Brown. Then Mr alien walking band Beatboxer extordinar Adam Rupp. You will be over run now by Home Fries as their fans are called. Try Dive Bar Saints, or just crazy fun,. Butt's Remix.

Thank you for your service. These guys ar super respectful to veterans, and they send positive messages about living together and focusing on our common characteristics and shared experiences rather than our differences - something that most of the veterans I have met understand all too well. I teach college courses in San Antonio, TX, where a lot of veterans are starting their second careers, so I talk to a lot of them as they go through my classes.

Home Free always pays appropriate respect in their covers--especially to the content! Their talent is amazing--and I LOVE their 5-part harmony❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ Such a genius touch to show the silhouette of the fellas in front of the window. I know some see it as a "ghost"y reference but it strikes me as a reflection of the POW/MIA flag. We'll never know just how many of those met the same fate as the soldier of this song. 😥

Love this song ...originally written just after the Falklands War where the UK were fighting the Argentinians in 1982...its written about a soldier called Lieutenant Lawrence of the Scots guards who was shot in the head by an Argentinian sniper as the Argentinians were retreating...he lost half his brain and was pronounced KIA twice but somehow he survived....its all about the futility of war and that even the enemy are their brothers in arms ❤

God bless you sir, and thank you for your service! My dad was a medic at Utah Beach, and my first cousin served 3 tours in Vietnam. They both survived but they never talk about anything but where they had been and people they had met. This song tears me up every single time I hear it. As an antidote, if you haven't already, check out their Butts Medley and All About That Bass. You will die of hilarity!
