Yes, welcome to Home Free, all acapella, no instruments at all. Masters of all musical genres. This is an original by them. They won the 4th season of the Sing Off in 2013. Their covers are upgrades, their medleys are brilliant, their collaborations with the original artists are inspirational, and their original songs are masterpieces. Within this 5 man vocal band you have 5 tenors, 5 beat boxers, and 2 bass-baritones. All of them can sing lead and they choose depending on whose voice best fits the song. They can do just about anything and they continue to grow and improve, yet they remain so humble. When they have featured guest artist, they support and allow their featured artists to shine. Several of them have their own channels and do some solo work. And just for fun Rob and Austin sing Opera. What else can I say? Their catalogue of work is quite large and continues to grow. You are in for an exciting journey and the Home Fries will be there for you all the way.

Tim the bass is a great singer. Austin the high tenor, Rob the low tenor Chance the baritone and Adam the beatboxer. The harmonies are great and they are great singers. They are my favorite group. I like the way they sing this song. 😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤. Ilove these guys.

I get what your saying. This was from a group of songs they sang to win "the Sing Off" television program back in 2013 or 2014. So popular songs were kinda of what they needed to win over judges and audiences. Yes, they lean towards country but have the ability to pull off many genres of music. If I can make a suggestion or two. Country - My Church or On the Road Again, R&B - Bless the Broken Road, master class a ceppella - Helplessly Hoping and my favorite original of theirs - Catch me if you can. I think they may be able to pull you back in.

Yeah, this song is kinda pop but they do all kinds of music. Check out their God Bless the USA with Lee Greenwood and the Singing Sergeants, or Elvira with the Oak Ridge Boys. Their video for the song Brother is a hilarious backdrop for a serious and beautiful song. Watch their video for Dolly Parton's 9 to 5 then follow it with their live number 9 to 5 + Beatboxing Breakdown. Guilty Pleasures is a wonderful musical skit they used to to when Chris Rupp with with them. Chris and the beatboxer Adam Rupp started Home Free in late 2000-early 2001. The grandfather of Matt Atwood another original member helped them out financially and they honored/thanked him by taking on the name of his boat. Oh, yeah, one thing you should remember when it comes to videos by Home Free and VoicePlay is that they have several videos that continue after the song itself is over, showing a message from the group or thank yous, or outtakes/bloopers. That also goes for Geoff Castellucci (VP's bass), Tim Foust (HF's bass), and Austin Brown (HF's redhead tenor) in their videos.

Well you shouldn’t judge the band by one song. It’s an original they’re redoing from about 10 years ago. They are super talented men. They sing all genres of music. You like pirates? They just came out with a banger of an original called Skull and Bones. If you like Christmas, O Holy Night, Do You Hear What I Hear. Sad, I Can’t Outrun You (lots of bass). Funny, Butts Medley, Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget. Man, with big beard and glasses can sing opera, the bass (first singer) has a 5 octave range, beatboxer is a freak of nature, Redhead (backward baseball hat) is an amazing high tenor and the baritone (with sunglasses) has a wonderful voice. Three of them are also songwriters. Hope you try more songs. 😄

Welcome to Home Free. I do hope you delve further into their music. As others said, this isn’t the best first introduction, and doesn’t highlight some of the unique talent like many other songs do. Try “Man of Constant Sorrow”, “In the Blood”, “Helplessly Hoping”, “Sea Shanty Medley” of which there is a live and a studio version. These fellows are al extremely talented, unique voices that blend well, tight harmonies, and several have wide ranges

There's a live video of them singing this on their 2014 Crazy Life tour. They sing almost every genre. If your prefer something somber "Brothers in Arms", "Helplessly Hoping" and the Country Rebel Church Session "Go Rest High on that Mountain" may be more to your liking..

Love your honesty. It would not be my choice for an introduction to the band. Hope you try some of the suggestions. Maybe their version of Dire Straights Brothers? Complete 180 from this song.

Brother at Arms IS about as far from this as you can get. But quite a special performance.

I will say it took me a good while to get into Homefree after loving Voiceplay because I am not a country/pop girl but now I do have a sweet spot for them. They seem like really fun decent guys. This song is nice but not a great example of their amazing talents. I’d say “Butts medley” for something fun, or “ring of fire with avi Kaplan” or “man of constant sorrow” for more examples of their rich vocals.

Welcome to the fabulous world of Home Free! This is not the best song to get acquainted with this group. Most new reactors start with "Man Of Constant Sorrow". These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. They are known for their tight harmonies. Tim Foust is one of the best bass singers out there with a 5 octave range & their beatboxer vocal percussionist Adam Rupp can simulate any sound. They do awesome covers but also a lot of original music as 3 of them are songwriters.
