Yes wallpaper can go either a total failure or success. What i learnt is using a cloth rather than a card does a better job.. But i like your trick of getting rid of air bubbles during this process.. choice of wallpaper is fantastic! And the makeover is fabulous! Kudos to your effort..

Very nice decoration, but the sitting and table height is mismatch. Put two morah or a cane chair beside the table. Use the shoe rack as display some decor stuff. By the way it's suggestions only, the choice is completely upto you.

Thank you for your suggestions Debarati. And yes I agree the furniture are mismatched because they're age old. Not a pair you can say. Also this area gets lots of traffic, so didn't want to crowd it with more furniture. 😊
