Home Concert #39 (Ambient / Berlin School Set)
For this edition I prepared an Ambient set. Most sounds will be coming from the Waldorf Iridium, my Modular system and the Moog synths.
The last part of this set will be an improvisation on a theme by Klaus Schulze, the visionary and pioneer of electronic music, who left us this week on April 26th 2022. I hope that he is now at a better place together with Pete Namlook. Rest in peace!

How to fly a spaceship by Martin Stürtzer. Wonderful audio journeys, thank you.

Tolles Konzert! Vielen Dank Martin!
Love it
An outstanding transformative tribute to a Master of the Berlin School and the concept of electro-music.
Very very very nice ! Love it my friend !
Getting up to date! Wonderful tracks...
Your music, apart from translating cosmic vibes, amazingly stabilizes the brain, especially when being upset, like after reading the news:). Please, go on with your opuses... Danke!
Great set dude

I'm not much into ambient, but your "Berlin School" stuff is quite good. Cheers!
;-))))) Good Job
Getting real 'Marconi Union' vibes from part 2, Love it!
As a fellow keyboardist, I must say your work is inspiring, I wish I could get it on cd so I could travel with it

@MartinStuertzer
Danke!
I want to buy part 3. Did you record the session?
Man, you hit the nail, absolutely briliant If I didn't watch the video, I would say Tangerine Dream from the best period 1974 - 1977, Froese-Franke-Baumann, Klaus assisted a bit 🙂 Btw, are you related to Chris Franke? 🙂

Thanks a lot for you feedback, you really seem to dig through all the videos now! ;) It is very sad indeed that Vangelis left us. I can´t hide that his music was a huge influence on my own. I try to do my very small part to carry on his legacy.

@MartinStuertzer
Danke!
Kitty :3
It's like listening to TD in concert. Spooky. There are a few mis-keyed notes, and these could almost be intentional (as I have recordings of TD where there are also mis-keyed notes). No criticism - they make it sound much more authentic.
@MartinStuertzer
Thank you! Given the very spontaneous and sad nature I played a few wrong keys in the last part. Klaus Schule played this in Eb-minor, which is a rather unusual key for me. I usually improvise in d, c or f.
Martin, could you play a concert with Jerome Frese?
