UPDATE: I have created builds plans for this pile driver if anyone is interested in building one. The build plans will be slightly different as I have made some updates to the pile driver over the years.

Sounds surprisingly a lot like the big diesel pile hammers
Great job! I've worked around pile drivers for years and it looks like you've nailed the principal and the sound, albeit on a smaller, much quieter scale.
Awesome pile hammer....you received ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐s on this one brother 😎✌️.
This is an awesome home build!!!!
How to video would be great. Thanks
All, I have updated my account so that you can contact me directly. I apologize I very rarely look at my videos and this was uploaded to share with family and friends. For those interested I will be creating plans for this pile driver that can be purchased. I can also build more if anyone is interested in purchasing one. Please message me directly for now and I can send you over what I have. Once I have the plans created I will also add a link in this video. Thanks Scott

Definitely interested, I would gladly pay for the plans or possibly a driver. This would work great with my deck crane.

Sickkkk
So Conan is in the construction business now.
Hola, dónde puedo comprar un martillo como ese? Necesito uno para traerlo a Chile, agradecería si me pueden dar información. Gracias
$200 for plans? It's a pretty simple setup to fab out. You can use either an air brake relay valve or a bead blaster air dump valve for these in combination with a directional valve from china. $30 for the directional valve to automate this, 10 bucks for each of the bead blaster valves. The plans cost most than the parts. lol
What valve did you use for stops(directional control)
Yes, please share your design
Dude! Wanna build another?

I’m looking to purchase the plans online but just have a couple questions first? Do you have an email? How heavy is the hammer when completed?
Great job! Would you share what air cylinders did you use to build it?

How big of a compressor (cfm) does it require to run the hammer? C
@scottdamman
10 ай бұрын
It can run off any compressor, just the cycle time will be slow on smaller compressors. The video is shot with a 20hp rotary around 100cfm.
How do I get information on how to build one of those

I powered it from a rotary air compressor run off my tractor. Any large air compressor will run it just will be slower depending on the size.
