Very well engineered! But why not put the dock next to the tracks? Sure would make getting in and out easier.

Agreed, but our local council are dumbarses and give no freedom of use for anything, in fact they made me remove this entire slip a year ago.

What was the total cost of this project? Not including the boat

A while ago now so I can't remember.. But.. battery, winch, steel. Timber, etc etc.. Around $1000nzd. All done by myself so no labour content.

I have place in ga on river ask for forgiveness?don't think I'll get permission I'm supposed to own land to river center bot not water I have lots of ideas any information would be greatly appreciated

@@kevinwright2024 your rules a regs will be different than mine, here in nz we have what's called a reserve or queen's chain, which is 18m from high tide line. The set up I had wasn't fixed in any way but our council is ridiculous and will find a reason if they can't make money from it.
