Sorry ma u have done it the wrong way. U suppose to flatten the fondant into a flat huge round pc like how u do for chapati and cover the entire cake with it...than only u trim the edge. There are so many tutorial that u can see to learn how to cover the cake with fondant...u will get a smooth clean finish

Sis hope you don't mind please do use a proper measuring spoon so that easy to follow from Malaysia

All food colouring is very harmfull for humans ma🤔 its not genuine😕 Not pondan, that word means Thirunagai in our country🤣 the real name is Pandan leaves, or screw pine leaves👍🏻 in tamil they call rambam ilai. Its available every where. Take a few leaves and blend, u can get a beautiful colour (green) filter and store in d fridge. The aroma will be awesome. Artifull colours are in a way poisioness😢 to be safe do not use any colour. Using oil also is not good ma, why not use butter🤔 oil is bad for health. (Cholostrol) that will lead to heart soon. So pls avoid oil too. Sugar u must use caster sugar for cake 👍🏻 not refined sugar. If u think this tips r usefull pls take otherwise lam sorry👍🏻😊
