Thanks for that video. Just waiting for my frame and had some left over questions regarding crossfire and beta flight, which you answered!

Hei can you add something on OSD with this FC?

Just wired up my crossfire nano to kakute f7 hdv (successfully) and was struggling to get it to work... like ALL day today. Just now finally got it to work. For this fc you need to wire tx of receiver to tx of the fc. and rx of receiver to rx of fc. Dangit. Dangit. And dangit.

Thanks for making the video. As you’re using crossfire receiver by soldering on to the flight controller, do you still use all the connections with the air unit do you need to cut some wires in that plug to not use the tx and rx of the air unit or is that something you can config in beta flight?

No. You can used supplied cable with crossfire rx as long as you select serial port on the corresponding uart port.

@@mrRockwellFPV But then are the Air unit and crossfire both sending out RC signals? Is there a way to disable the air unit from RC signals?

Do you have issues using 5 or 6S? My quad is falling out of the sky with everything above 4S.Do I need to connect the esc + and - to B+ and B - for 6S? And if so, disconnect + and - from the plug?

help me understand. Your kakute came with a wire that will connect directly to the DJI air unit? Mine did not come with a wire that does that, and my DJI air unit only came with a male connector on one side, and exposed wires without connector on the other side. Do you have any idea where I can find that wire???

Hmmm. That's a tough one. Really don't know. But standard dji cable canbe made to fit the jst connector on the fc

Thank you for sharing, why not use the DJI air unit for video and flight control of the drone? Is it because you have the DJI goggles but not the DJI controller?

will this set up work with the taranis x9d and the dji goggles ? does using the cross fire mean that you don't need the antenna for your radio controller anymore ?

It will work with any other system that your use. Instead of crsf rx you solder on whatever rx you have.

Maybe you have a faulty 9v reg. I'm sure that the shop you bought it from will warranty it.
