I would bet you a whole lot of money that I know the music posted here as well as the sacred and secular music of many Northern European composers from this period through Bach better than you do. I’ve also performed and studied flute, organ, and classical vocal works of the time period mentioned for many years, and I’m from the US. Perhaps it’s a German, Bohemian, and Austrian “thing” to need to feel exclusive, I don’t know. But it’s quite silly.

Charlemagne and Louis were Frank's king James was a norman that's why I specified also that's a common misconception if you believe that article I read that says that were all related to charlemagne "which is false " you need to look deeper. that would mean every jew is related to king Solomon when that is not true only Jews that were descended from Solomons tribe would be related to him or related to him in any serious amount Norman's and Frank's are two separate tribes if you believe everything you read you are not thinking for yourself nazis had very convincing studies on Jews at the time every one believed which were very convincing which were false also all Europeans are not related to charlemagne only a small group have any significant amount. The german section of the holy Roman empire in 1000 ad was 3,800,000 charlamagne died in 814 divide that by 3 to make up for time past that would mean about 1,266,666 people in the German section at the time of his death there was many other people having kids besides charlemagne at that time so to say everyone is related to charlemagne in any significant amount is ludicrous my ancestory was traced from surnames of people who immigrated to America who have direct blood ties to charlemagne and king James vi heck all of my family looks like there there paintings lol

Knights had horns on the helmets , some of them were found in Austria few years ago , 5hey are bad to mid condition , but one of them is in very good condition and there are clearly horns and other decorative things on top of those Pothelms. Vikings had no horns on helmets ,that’s true.

Was it Holy? Nope considering the Kings and so on had constant conflict with the Pope and co. Was it Roman? Nope, you had WRE and ERE, plus the HRE didn't control Rome (unless you are counting the sack of 1527), Was it an Empire? Nope it was a confederation of smaller states
