I'd like to recommend their "Immortal Songs Medley" since u liked their voices so much, in my opinon shows their vocal capabibity even more than the killing voice, in the medley they're not singing original songs but covers that they did on the singing show "Immortal Songs 2", when singers are invited to cover "legendary songs" from legendarys artists in the industry adding their on flavor to the cover. They did this medley in their on concert so it's ok to react on youtube (it won't get blocked), and also it's 100% live and with live audience. Also i second the recommendation for the Purple Hawk Mamamoo Guide, there is one that it's more updated but the purple hawk one is by far the best one, but the mamamoo 2022 guide part 2 is really good for u to see their discography. Mamamoo is the only Kpop group with so many performances. the 2nd with the most has like 4. Mamamoo did 5 in 1 year. and their 1st performance was 5-6 months after debut and 1 of the hosts on backstage said that Mamamoo will win rookie of the year award. and they did.

You have just witnessed just a small taste of the power from the Queens of the Moomoo nation. The mighty Mamamoo. Footnote: Hwasa (the one to your right) was sick during this performance but still slayed it like a Queen.

I truly believe there's no other group in the korean music industry as versatile as they are. I fell in love with them in 2014 after coming across piano man, and they've been surprising me ever since. I listen to a lot of music of all genres, and i can safely say they are number one on my list to see perform live on any given day. Welcome to the radish field man.

I used to think a lot of K-pop sounded similar too, but once I stopped listening to only Title Tracks and listened to more B-sides I found more diversity. Mamamoo on the other hand has diversity in their Title Tracks too. When they debuted in 2014 with a Jazz sound, they really stuck out (in a good way) because NO ONE sounded like them. Next watch "Immortal Song Medley" it is amazing!!!

Vocal Queens of kpop. And each member are also fabulous soloists with albums to their own names. Agree with you, they always steps away from usual kpop sound. Mamamoo is a unique phenonenon among their peer group.

You're right, Mamamoo are so good. They are on a world tour now and if they come to your city I highly recommend going to at least one of their concerts. Their concerts last anywhere from 3 hours to almost 5 hours. Like everybody says who has seen them in concert, it's money well spent. Mamamoo have a Christmas song called Memory and they have done a cover of Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas Is You as well as a Christmas dance practice to Wind Flower, with each member dressed in Christmas costumes. Solar has covered Santa Baby twice and done a Christmas Songs Medley with one of Mamamoo's songwriters/producers Cosmic Girl, who used to be an idol herself in a group called Rania. Wheein released a duet Christmas song with Ailee (her then label mate at TheL1ve) called Solo Christmas.

just like you said at the end, they are all at similar skill levels and even the rapper (moonbyul) first got in the company as a vocalist 😅 shes also amazing at singing, she recently participated in a vocal competition for kpop rappers (in girl groups) called second world and won first place!

I agree - despite fans' claims there are basically 4 main girl group marketing concepts (cute, innocent, sexy, girl crush) and the companies hire teams of songwriters to compose music to match the group concept. The girls almost always have high, thin soprano voices that are heavily autotuned to fit with the current style of pop production. As you can tell, most of it is not my taste. The Mamamoo members were selected with the novel idea of forming a girl group based on their vocal ability, performance skills and creativity and have always defied categorization because they don't stick to any particular group concept or musical style. Don't let Moonbyul's innocent looks and sweater vest fool you - she's a mischievous hamster and is the prankster of the group. Sometimes it seems like her main job in MMM is to torture Solar (her bff). lol The song title is on the top line, which is often in Korean; the bottom line is the album and year. Dingga is indeed one of their more typical kpop songs, mostly because of the disco influence that's been so overdone in kpop in the last couple of years, but their vocals make all the difference. Dingga was a b-side from the Travel album they mentioned at the beginning. It's a covid song that was intended to cheer us up while we were socially distant so it's more bouncy pop than is usual with MMM. Most of their xmas season songs are solos. For the Guide, I recommend to jump straight into the 2022 version. It updated the iconic guide by purple hawke, being more concise and.. well.. up to the date 😬 Also the 2022 version shows better their huge development in the last 3 yrs, what for me is really fundamental as it showcases their talents and artistry in their most mature and comfortable/confident form yet. While the purple hawke focuses more on their individual charms and quirks, the 2022 guide presents their identify as a group better.

You're right! This official video have already been polished/autotuned, but when dingo first uploaded this, it was the raw version. Raw vocals of mamamoo is just topnotch. The original video just recently resurfaced here on youtube causing chaos in the moomoo fandom lol

As far as Christmas related ... Their song Memory (has a video) is very Christmas feeling. They all have a habit of dropping some kind of solo song on their respective birthdays. Moonbyul's is December 22 and her A Miracle 3 Days Ago is a great Christmas Song. They also have various covers. Welcome to the MAMAMOO world

This is the video that made me a fan of them and i started to get into more K-pop because of them. I had heard a fair amount of K-Pop before them. And the vast majority of it felt "bubble gummy" to me. MMM feels like a more adult perspective on performances. Which is a bit ironic as you'll see from the Intro videos. Purple Hawk and Moo YT have the best two, IMO. And they are actually complementary of each other as Moo YT has updated information. As far as stuff to check out. Immortal Songs Medley is awesome. Their performance of "I Miss You" from Queendom is really special. Their live performances are something else. :) There's a bunch of great songs that didn't make it into this medley on their YT. Pianoman is one of my favorites. On top of all the group content they each have successful solo careers. A couple songs from each member Moonbyul: Eclipse, Lunatic. Solar: Honey, Spit it out. Wheein: Watercolor, Make Me Happy. Hwasa: I'm a B, Maria.

What separates Mamamnoo from all other female groups (IMO) is that they don't do that "baby talk" version of singing that soooooooo many girl groups do. They sing like women, not women pretending to be sexy little girl fetish objects. And Moonbyul is actually a real rapper, not a pretty girl who went to rap class in her training days. Fun Fact! She's also friends with BTS Jin and in a '92 liner group chat with him. They are the female singers that all the other talented singers love.

The 2 most recommended guides are from KZreadrs Purple Hawke and MooYT. Purple Hawke is a slightly outdated guide but still one of the best made in the production aspect. However, the third part going over the group history was never completed. MOOYT is a guide from this year 2022 and basically has the same exact info, infact it even credits purple hawke. The only advantage to MooYT is that you get the important group guide. If you want to truly get to know the group, you need to know what they went thru to appreciate what an amazing group these 4 ladies created. So my personal recommendation is MooYT parts 1 and 2. If you want to dive even further, then watch PurpleHawke, which is also 2 parts. Each part goes over 2 members. Thanks for your reaction!

I saw Solar live in Mata Hari and her voice is angelical, she is amazing, I can only imagine how good they all are in a concert!!

Check out a girl group called SES, they are the first girl group, opening so many doors. I suppose you could say they dropped lucky, being invited onto the Immortal songs 2. After 13 shows and three wins they got national coverage.

Yep those are tricks fans use to make reactors react to their favs.. "they're different", "they're as good as BTS", "they're friends with BTS", "they're underdogs like BTS (when its not true)", "they write their lyrics like BTS".... In the case of Mamamoo, they're right.. In term of performance and authenticity, its truly the best girl group.. I don't know why they didn't recommend them at first, I guess too much are attracted by the superficial aspects and the visuals.. I have some of their tracks on my playlist especially Hwasa, I recommend to react to her, one of her tracks made me cry "LMM"... Another artist you should react to is BiBi, you'll not be disappointed, she's wild but really talented.

For a Christmas song, definitely recommend 'A Miracle 3 Days Ago' or 'Snow' by Moonbyul (the rapper). Snow is not necessarily a Christmas song, but it's definitely got that feel to it, especially when watching the MV.

If you react to the immortal song melody you need to know somethings . First it's their first concert when they were only two years out of their debut. Also it was done three hours into their concert which is four hours long in high heels. I'm a seven year MooMoo for an old guy I really love their music and their personalities. I regard that guide as bloated and spoiler-filled, I prefer the more concise guides that came before and after it.

I love their live performances in Queendom but I'm not sure if you can react to that since it might get blocked easily. (it's a show from Mnet, so... ) I think their solo songs/works are all great and very enjoyable. Hwasa's Twit, Maria, I'm a B, Don't (a collab song with Loco) etc. Wheein's Make Me Happy, Butterfly, Watercolor etc. Moonbyul's Eclipse, Absence, Shutdown etc. Solar's Spit it out, Honey. (I didn't list them all, just some of my favs.) As for their group songs... I can't list them. Cuz that will be a very long list, I can't choose. I'll leave that to other MooMoos 😂

I agree with everything you said! I usually watch your BTS reactions but I've been searching for a girl group for awhile now and nothing stuck out to me but as soon as I heard this my ears perked up, it's different. I'll have to check out more their stuff.

At the time they all were all pretty exhausted after 7 very busy non-stop years (Mamamoo was always one of the most hardworking groups in kpop) and they found themselves questioning what was in their future individually and as a group, so it was a hard time for them and for MooMoo, not knowing what was gonna happened. At least, Moonbyul and Solar (first and second left to right) renewed their contracts for five more years, Hwasa (the one on the far right) renewed hers for two more years and Wheein (third left to right) renewed only partially, meaning she'd still be part of the group at least for two more years but she signed as a soloist with another company.

Mamamoo to me isn't Kpop. There's lots of dross in Kpop as well as crap but also lots of great songs and good groups and then.... then you have Mamamoo who are in a league of their own.
