His slab buying over card buying is not going to go so well when card collecting faces the same issue coin collecting did with slabs in the 1990s. All it takes is 1 scandal at PSA like grading a bunch of fakes and suddenly PSA 10 is the same price as raw.

0.0 at that point wouldn’t it be cheaper to just open packs on stream, get some money back from the stream sell all the hollows you don’t want. You would pull some of these eventually. I know pack prices keep going up but still. I honestly don’t know this is an outsider looking in an honestly curious

If you paid full price than that’s not a good buy at all. You never pay retail when buying a collection.

People just keep your cards raw. Most psa 9s out of anything other than really old cards are worth less than if there raw. Nvm the price to get them graded. Very fiew cards are worth it
