As a brand new mtg arena player, basically inspired by your content, I as a beginner would like (and I guess other new players), if you're interested, to make some more beginner like videos sometimes, like some more advanced mono color (or dual color) decks that are potentionally rotation proof so we can get into this amazing game much quicker than now. Google Mtg top 8 check out red aggro get yourself 4 slickshots and 4 swift spears and make yourself a mono red with maybe 10 rares in total, enjoy the climb brother. You'll either win fast or lose fast.

To be honest, the best monocolor deck you should play as a beginner is monored. It's extremely boring, but it's the cheapest and easiest deck to build and play. Avoid the beginner trap, DON'T play monogreen. It seems cool to play huge critters, but it's extremely difficult to get a decent win rate with that. If you already understand the game, skip the monored phase, and play monoblack. It requires more rares and mythics for a decent deck, but it's way more versatile and diverse, gameplay wise. THEN, when you are more experienced, you'll also have a better idea of what you'll really like to play. By watching videos here (old time player speaking: Mogwai is extremely good at building decks), and by taking attention to the decks you're playing against. MtG is a complex game that allows a lot of different viable strategies. You just have to find what fits your style. In the meantime, just grind the ladder with the cheapest of the best decks out there. In my opinion, obviously. I'm not an ultra aggro player, more control or combo style.

by the way about his decklists as a new player you ~ to a certain degree can build some of his decklists but without the stronger lands (i did that with his golgari midrange ) and then you can go on with it . they will serve you all ok just the land diff will feel bad but it will atleast make you hit plat (which gives you the highest amount of gold everything above is more packs) so yeah theres that

Im loving your videos. Just be careful not to get burned out. I would not mind that your daily videos turns into weekdays. Take the weekends off. As much as I want your content, there is an actual thing called burnout. I dont want to lose my favorite card player content creator. Take care!

i think the yt algorithm doesnt like people taking their time :/ but youre definetly right, since he is streaming alot of his brewing, maybe we could get some highlight stuff aka some brews who were sweeeeet but not competitive enough. would mean more content in the "same" time and even could lead to less pressure

Another fine deck i wanna play. Mogwai slowly but surely eating away my wildcards. I'm 13 rares down since his return. Edit: 15 rares with this deck.

It is always so satisfying to see a creature deck beat a mill/Jace deck. The flash creatures really messed with their plans.

Holy Cow!

I had been looking at using Annie Flash as I got a few copies but couldn't wrap my head around the text, color combo ect on how to build a deck around her. I was like, Is a 3 mana card worth? But now I've seen the light of the Holy Cow lol. PWr Dragon built a cool OX deck and that made me realize the cow is amoozing!

Would be really interesting to see a BO3 version of this deck, or would it be too vulnerable to graveyard hate?

I've been enjoying this deck to decent success. My only change was I flipped out the fox for another 3 drop. Just found it very bad against mono red and boros convoke. Plus doesn't do much against control. Not a ton of great alternatives but after testing the Aven Interrupter I landed on Kutzil's Flanker. Just has a lot more flexibility. Especially in BO1.

Can i substitute the rotating boros land with cavern of souls or other rare dual lands?

the two life over one life did a lot of work, but did you ever consider inspiring overseer for this deck?

Can you please make a more “reachable” deck for free to play players? Like with a little mithycs cards? I really like trying your decks but man, this game is pretty menacing regarding getting a collection..

This feels like a limited deck.
