Being from Long Beach Crook been killing it since 96'. When he signed with Death Row in '99-'00 and I heard his first song Death Rizzo I've been a fan since then. A lyrical mad man. The Sway and Tech he's talking about is when he destroyed the Clipse Neptunes beat "Grindin" on the legendary Wake Up Show. They had to retire that mic because he torched it. Glad to see after all these years he's getting his respect. Still he is highly underrated but real hip hop fans know he's one of the best to do it on the mic.

Crook is an absolute Legend. I’ve been a fan, since his Death Row days, since around 2001 or 2002... I learned about him, threw the XXL magazine. Because in 2001 or 2002, Suge Knight, Crook, Left Eye & Eastwood, all appeared on the XXL cover, and cover story. So, i checked out his music, after I read the article. And been a fan ever since... He’s by far the best, and most technical lyricist out of Slaughterhouse... Most ppl seem to like Royce the best... But I always liked Crook a lot more... I’m a huge Horseshoe Gang fan, and a fan of the whole C.O.B. Movement, and C.O.B. Cyphers as well... Theres a reason why Eminem won’t hop on a track with The Horseshoe Gang... Lol... He’s afraid that they’ve got the potential, to out-rap him.

Such a ill lineup. C.O.B 4 Life! Much respect bro! You know what's up. R.I.P N.I N.A aka Left Eye. Also had Virginia Slym and the Realest. Also had Petey Pablo but that was the end of Death Row when he had signed. They shutdown shortly after and Suge gave Petey a blue, red, and gold Death Row chain. I wonder if he has that still. I miss those days even, besides the 90's era hip hop I grew up listening too.
