this book in the bible is 2 pages long. I read it 7 years ago in my bedroom, and it changed my life. I quit smoking weed, reduced my rebelliousness against authority. I just smoke cigarettes because there's a verse elsewhere saying "Jesus told his disciples, it's not what goes in the mouth that matters to me, but what comes out the heart." I used to drink since I was 11. Now for the last 7 years, I drink twice a year 2 drinks after I've felt I've worked hard & done what what needed. I feel rejuvenated.

I encourage you tot stop smoking brother I don’t want to see my brothers in Christ have their physical vitality hindered by disease or smoking.

Bless you for coming to Jesus and learning from the Word of God. His word is life, and changes us from the inside out, Amen!! I wanted to let you know that, the verse about defilement is speaking of dirt, not cigarettes. Please bring your cigarette habit to the Lord in prayer. Be honest with him. Don’t make excuses for yourself, pretending that God is ok with it. Cigarettes have a demonic spirit attached to them, and it causes lung cancer too, so there is more than one reason to quit, my friend. Please know I do not speak in judgment, but truth, and I want to help you understand that verse. Read the whole chapter to understand the full context. It has to do with how the Jews had a hand washing rule in the law, so when the disciples did not wash their hands before eating, the Pharisees were judging them, but Jesus said it’s not what goes in your mouth that defiles you, meaning the soul cannot be defiled by dirty hands.

Shalom... The reader did a great job in translating chapter 9 verse 3 by saying "And stay away from disagreements and quarrels about the "jewish law". The CEV translation reads " And stay away from disagreements and quarrels about the "Law of Moses", which is not correct and implies that Paul was condemning the Torah... But if you study the greek it states: μάχας νομικὰς περιΐστασο quarrel about [the] law avoid The CEV translation got it wrong by inserting "Moses" after "the law". Paul was talking about man-made laws not the Torah of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.

I'm reading along with what he's reading but that scripture didn't say that they must only be married once... it said that you MUST be faithful in marriage. Don't change His word or add nothing to it!

0:58 Titus never once said must be married only once, it says faithful in marriage. You have to make sure you read it as it is written. Because what he's saying, is not what's written. I understood it as being , a second marriage would go against laws of Moses . Because that would be considered adulterous in the Torah . not saying that I agree, just how i understood it .

This is a corruption! In Titus 2:9 it says "tell slaves always please their owners by obeying them in everything." Etc... In the KJV it says "exhort servants to b 4:35 e obedient unto their own masters and to please them well in all things." Sounds very different eh. I sometimes wish I spoke the original Greek so I would understand better. These new translations are like Chinese whispers. Lost in translation!

I dislike this because it is not as the Bible reads! It's deeper! More Sober!
