I haven’t been to SHOT show in years. It seems the innovation that’s coming out at this year show is leaps and bounds of what’s it’s been. This is truly the golden era of guns and accessories.

I think after the supply issues of the pandemic there's definitely a drive to innovate more vs just having something to offer when materials were scarce

I've been running Holosun optics and lasers on most of my rifles for several years now. Been very pleased with their design, function, and performance.

Looking forward to the IRIS dropping. Definitely getting one

I agree with Ryan regarding the switch. If that was offered separately I definitely would buy it. Very nice.

An add on rail mount battery for the ‘pistol’ thermal would be a good idea for rifle use, especially in a piggyback or diving board configuration to help get on target in low light. Hog and predator control comes to mind.

The Holosun and PSA booths were my favorite two booths. Not lying about the steps, including walking around the Venetian and other stops I averaged 12 miles a day over the week walking around the Shot Show according my my Galaxy watch.

that rear button switch is horrifically bad. Outside of that, assuming we get the right power level, this thing will dominate the LAM market in a way we haven't seen yet.

I love holosun products, I have 3, 507 models and they just work. Not one issue with them!

So when is the actual release date on this? I need to make sure I can order 2 asap.

i love the IR laser. what are the chances of you caring it and having one in stock? i have been waiting on the LE321 to be in stock for nearly a year now with no luck.

I'm indifferent to the light, Streamlight already fills that notch. But, I'm very excited about the Iris.

Anyone know the holosun reddot with built in night vision or thermal what can you expect in yards in pitch black for distance you can still make targets out in each model the only thing ive heard rumors is that the distance is pretty limited

Leave it to holosun to be the one to finally bring a wml with high CRI!! I’ve been wishing someone would bring a 95+ CRI because I can’t bring myself to do emitter swaps on a Surefire 😅

I don't think it's 95 CRI (if someone would make a nichia based WML call us please!) but it's certainly 80+ from my eyes. Much higher than most tac lights.

That electronic mode selector button on the IRIS needs to be a switch just like the power level one. The button is the most ass-backwards, common sense-defying decision they could have gone with. Besides that it looks amazing. It would be hilarious if their switches perform better than the Modbutton Lite.

You can get a PVS-14 parrs kit for $4-700. I imagine that Holosun would use an NNVT tube. You could build your own, and save big bucks. You can get argon to purge it from any home wine making store.

Holosun if your reading Add levers to iris instead of the push button. Make the ir Illuminator close to a mawl performance. Make the white light a removable head & make the head threads & tailcap threads surefire/industry standard don’t release them till this stuff is done

At this point I ask myself why don't they use the wireless tech to let you have it display in a monocle or integrated into smart glasses so the wielder/wearer can reach around corners and sweep a room (in thermal) without exposing themselves? Seems like a better use of such tech to me, but I like what Holosun is doing and just ordered the DRS Thermal.

Let the guys at Holosun know and i'm sure they got things in the works.

He mentioned the DarqIndustries video was full power. I'm gathering the video of the IRIS with the lackluster illuminator performance was the civilian power version which is disappointing. Hopefully they figure out the FDA regs and take advantage of the VCSEL for the civilian power version. Otherwise it's all pointless.

Brass facts thinks the battery may have just been low. He bought a fresh battery for the one at the booth. one of the days, and it looked much stronger. Fingers crossed

And you know all,of this for certain? Telling a company how much they make on any given product is none of your business. If you can’t afford it, don’t play, but don’t make a fool out of yourself either.

Would be nice if they actually release products to public and not just tease at ShotShow. Absolutely love their red dots. Can NOT find any of their other products available anywhere. Everything is on back order. Hope they step up their game.

Streamlight released the tlirv2 a couple of years ago. It's a pistol mountable white light, with ir illum and laser. The problem with combining white light and ir is you'll always sacrifice white light output to make room for ir circuit.

Bro it’s called color temperature. White light is warm yellowish, white, or cool bluish. Not difficult terms to learn

Put only switches on the IRIS!!!! No stupid buttons that you have to hold etc. Buttons + gloves = bad time.

Now is they could just come out with a pistol red dot that isn’t so clunky and chunky

Colored lights arent really helpful with nv

No it's not but the tint on the current light is nice, using NV effectively also includes having a good white light.

100 hours of continuous run time is good. That's two weeks, plus almost a full day. I don't know of another LAM that exceeds that.
