    This is a far better attempt at a "hologram" than the inverted glass pyramid thing. This is still NOT a hologram as it is not 3d. Technically, this is nothing more than an unreasonably large HUD.

    These videos are cool and all, but what I really want to see is a full sized screen. It also looks like all the video was designed specifically for a projector. What I really want isn't just a full sized screen but one that has software that converts existing content to a image that can be projected and supports mouse use. So I can do more than just play a video, I can surf the web, play games, etc. It shouldn't really be that hard to write a conversion program.

  • @ALPHA-555

    @ALPHA-555

    No need of a conversion program, this is just some kind of transparent mirror that reflect the image from an LCD screen placed on top. You can do the same with anykind of computer screen with enough luminosity.

    It is just transparent plastic box with tablet on top. Secret is in super thin screen protector (reflective surface). Unlike the classic plastic this screen protector do not cause double reflection and holographic image is sharp. You can get best results if you use tablet or phone with amoled screen with deep black.

  • @CollidingStrings

    A real projection hologram is reconstructed in space by passing coherent light (a spread out laser beam) through the interference patterns on a photographic plate or film. The hologram is made by exposing the photographic plate to a laser beam that is split, with half the light falling on the subject and being reflected off it onto the film, and the other half of the laser being shined directly on the film. Where the reflected light interferes with the direct light, little way lines appear on the film. After the film is developed, shining a laser through it of about the same color causes the beam to pass between the lines and deflect so that they interfere in space where the object was in relation to the film, and you see the 3D image floating in space. If you use a curved piece of film to wrap around the object and illuminate it properly, you can reconstruct the entire 3D object's image in space, so you actually are projecting the image with a laser. I used to make reflection holograms, where you would see the 3D image in the film by shining a laser on it. I'm still not sure if projection holograms work in a vacuum, but I've seen them in air.

    The video was very choppy and blob-ish. But as one person commented, at 4min 32sec into the video the light goes out and you see an orange dot that appears to be the cooling element of a high intensity lamp, but you also see the flat rooftop of a building behind the church where the light source seems to originate. I could not see any recognizable human features in the blob of light other than the vague outline of what might be a bust. My conclusion is that it was a spotlight on the roof. If there was indeed an image in it, it was likely a hoax since a high temperature electric lamp was apparently involved. (By the way, my original post should have said "little wavy lines.")

    Thanks for the dyi on holograms, way cool. God bless you bro and know that Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, has given His life for your sake. Because of His great and deep love for you personally, God Himself became a man to pay for humanity's debt by dying in our place on the cross, and that man is Jesus Christ. God's love cannot and will not go against His own righteousness, so as Judge and Owner of His creation, our debt of sin had to be paid for, but only He could pay it because only He is righteous. And He didnt have to pay for our debt of sin but He chose to for our benefit. Yet we rejoice because our God is alive and well because He ressurected from the cross and conquered death so we could have eternal life, so just as Himself, those who believe will die but we will live again forever more in peace and joy in heaven. For the eternal God has paid for our eternal debt in hell by dying on the cross so we could have eternal life with Him in Heaven (John 17:3). Repent ( turn ) from your sins and turn to Jesus and He will surely forgive you. Follow Jesus for He is a GREAT Savior and Comforter in good and bad times (read the book of John in the Bible to know Him, it is Jesus' life History, He is the Word of God in the flesh, He is God Himself in the flesh). And we do not use His unconditional grace and forgiveness as an excuse to sin, even though we are not perfect, but I desire to devote every ounce of my being to following Jesus, the One who loves me and forgives me. When I sin I am deeply grieved, I lament and repent, turning back to Him, and He righteously forgives me because He has paid for my sin. We do not serve Him to earn His love, we serve Him because He loved us first (1 John 4:18-19). When He came the first time as a man He came as a lamb to be slain in our place, but Jesus is coming back as conquering King, the Lion of Judah 🙏 1 John 1:8-9 KJV - If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Romans 6:23 KJV - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
