Dear Bella, Tomorrow here in Israel is the Shoa Remembrance Day. I listened to your incredible story and am deeply grateful you shared it with us even though such memories must have brought you incredible pain. Thank you for strengthening us, the Jewish people that no matter what happens HaShem is able to bring us through triumphantly with honor and great dignity which you expressed so beautifully. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing your story. There are no words to say about what you endured. It’s just too horrible. As I age I have become increasingly interested in what took place. I was adopted and now know this is my heritage. It’s so odd that deep inside we feel what is in our DNA. I am saddened and overcome with your story. You are so beautiful I can’t thank you enough for the strength to tell it.

Amazing resilience against criminal atrocities. You are incredibly strong Bella, so glad you had a family of your own. Your mother was outstanding, what an amazing woman, her sorrow that came after is so understandable, but she had the strength to move forward, protect you, learn English in a foreign land, get a job, organise housing . Just outstanding after such crippling loss.

Here in the UK, with our comfortable and reasonable lives, we cannot even begin to imagine what Jews went through in Eastern Europe during WW2. Hard doesn’t cover it. Terror and never ending fear & hunger is nearer. It is so important to hear these genuine experiences and to preserve them for future generations. It is also a matter of honouring the dead and remembering their lives and the places and times they lived in. Remembering everyday life is important, remembering the culture of those times valuable so that future generations can cherish it.

One of the hardest lessons one has to learn as an adult parents likely never taught you is that almost all those around you would put you in a death camp if given the chance

Amazing resilience against criminal atrocities. You are incredibly strong Bella, so glad you had a family of your own and carved a life of your own. Your mother was outstanding, what an amazing woman, her sorrow that came after is so understandable, but she had the strength to move forward, protect you, learn English in a foreign land, get a job, organise housing, until you could. Just outstanding after such crippling loss, which is even more amazing when you think at that time in the world most women would have been used to their husband organising most things. Independence is such a gift and so critical in survival

Just imagine an army coming and taking your children & family. And theres nothing you can do about it. My heart is broken for the babies, children, teens, adults & elderly. I will never understand how one race could think they’re better than everyone & have so much hate in their heart. And still claim to have God in their lives. Hitler & his people were evil. Evil spawns. May God bless all💜
