There will never be another era like the 50s Hot Rods and Rock and roll. If I could go back in time it would definitely be the 50s the age of innocence. Well so it seemed!

Dude, we need to establish something: this is THE most underrated channel on KZread! Your editing and camera work is as fine as most big-budget Hollywood flicks, and your choices for music fits these cars you highlight to a tee. I really wish more people in our age (millennial, Gen Z) understood how bitchin’ classic cars are, but I guess that saves more rods for those of us who do get it. Regardless, keep up the good work!

Beautiful coupe. As a little note of interest, I don't know how popular a Shifano was but he did the interior, top and the tonneau on the Dean Lowe Roadster Pickup which was built in '59/60. The quality of that interior shows through as it has survived incredibly well. It has been owned by a good friend for the last 23 years so I have had the honour of seeing the quality workmanship up close.
This car couldn't have gone to a better person! This video gave me goose bumps.

Great story Ben. Love your film style keep up the good work, you’ll go far.
I keep looking at this car, in fact it really hit me in the thumbnail so I clicked it. I'm not 100% sure, I seem to remember seeing this in either old an issue of R&C, from the late '50s or I used to have a book called "Grease Machines" published in 1978 that featured photos of customs from so. cal during the late '50s and early '60s. there's a group photo on one page that has a chopped and sectioned '32 5 window (obviously not your car...) and there were other '32's on the same page.for some reason the blue paint, the motor, and interior really rang a bell. the other '32s were 3 windows like yours I remember that. I know that's not much, but I hope it's a bit of a help.

The other thing, (and I didn't even notice until I watched this a couple times) the car I remember seeing pics of had a white rolled and pleated insert where the canvas top would be, and this one has it. it's been a long time since I've seen the pics, since I lost most of my old car literature stuff, but I also seem to remember it had Olds Fiesta caps on it. I do hope this kinda helps.

What a great barn find!! Enjoyed this video.
FYI electric fuel pumps were common in the 50’s, often easiest way if no clearance for a mechanical pump. I had a Bendix electrical pump mounted in the trunk of my ‘47 Ford coupe, flathead with 3 97’s in ‘56, later with Cadillac later with Olds 324 - same pump. Pump was hard piped to block on firewall, hoses to carbs made swaps easier. Nice find. Wonder where my ‘47 is today - only had 12,000 miles on it when I sold it in ‘59.
I totally back you on your production and interest in the automotive world. More so your age and mine being similar while you love classic America much as I do! Glad to see this!
I can't wait to see this after Troy gets it road worthy.

Gorgeous.
Fix what needs fix, replace bad rubber, wire, etc., fluids, get it safe and that's it. Sooooooooooooooooooooo cool!
Awesome 😎
Really happy to hear you're gonna keep it as original as possible. That is an incredible piece of hot rod history you have there. Maybe someday I'll get that lucky and find me a gem like such 🤣
Awesome 32
Wow what a garage ..dream on
The Holy Grail of hot rods! Far cooler than a '32 roadster, in my opinion! Those things are like belly buttons these days, with so many reproductions! But it doesn't get much better than a real-deal Deuce 3-window running a '39 Ford trans-shifter Olds! I'm 73 and have lusted after that combo all my life. A Caddy in there with a Cad-Lasalle top shifter would also be perfect! I'm very glad you're going to just clean, service and drive this car! Last of all, as you're lucky enough to have become the caretaker of this piece of history, you should show respect for the original owner/builder by not using the front end as a chair, and keep your butt on the seat and your feet on the pedals where they belong. I'm sure they'd appreciate it! Great find!
Wow!! You are a lucky man!! That 32 is so beautiful!!

TV Guy here: Four Speed, consider moving talent closer to the camera with car framed bg. That way (cam mic) audio is tighter. I have talent look at "the interviewer" off camera left while they are framed on the right. With car bg it makes a nice triangle. All else positive. And you are in the right town...😂 cheers

I'm old, everytime is saw a hotrod in the 50's and some from the 40's they always had multi carb setups, most of the real cool ones had 6 deuces or 3 deuces, and they always had see thru fuel line to watch the bubbles

Great video guys.... Paul anka and Santos and Johnny really sets the mood for this rare show rod..... songs that you would of heard on the am radio... Cruising this gem in 1959/60 in so cal. Got to say though... The car looks familiar... not magazine familiar though.. I swear I saw a pic of this from Larry Watson before he passed away awhile back.... I pretty sure he had nothing to do with it.... But possibly a renegades car???... Just a thought

electric fuel pumps were often used because ford flatheads were bad about vapor locking. the factory located the fuel pump on top of the engine, at the back , so in the summer they were bad about vapor locking. i remember my dad and i pushing his brand new 1951 ford hardtop, down mockingbird lane in Dallas,Texas on a hot sept. day. he was mad.

What an awesome & lucky find . they are true time capsules from the past . Did you have mice or rat's damage ? We have a 1969 Caprice two door with red interior stored in a barn for over 30 years and mice ended up getting inside the glove box and the inside of the rear bench seat. It's cleaned up now but the smell was bad when we dragged it out of the barn. We also have a 1967 Dodge Dart two door with a crate 360 ci engine, headers, Holley 750 carburetor and some sort of speed link automatick on the floor . I love great finds like these. Basicallythe cars are complete but they need hell of elbow grease 😎 in it
Beautiful. If you drive it the Banjo will break. Maybe have a 8/9” contingency ready. 🙏
Love that patina 'ed ice blue paint job. Don't repaint it just buff it out.
