You are lucky you actually live alone, I live in a 4 bedroom house sharing 1 restroom with around 10 dirty bafoons that are still running around town like nothing is going on, I actually wish I could be alone right now like you!

Adam Schlesinger was the bassist in Fountains Of Wayne. Chris Collingwood was the frontman. I was lucky enough to see them a few times here in Boston. The first time was in 1997. I was at the show for Sloan, who were opening for F.O.W. Schlesinger had just been nominated for the Oscar but he was still really cool. He was only a year younger than me. Instead of being upset I want to remember the times I saw them and the laughs we had.

I read a book as a kid named Hollywood Babylon. It had stories about movie stars like Fatty Arbuckle and his rape trial and Jayne Mansfield's car accident. Some pretty gruesome shit, really.

They are citing people for being with anyone other than who you live with, not wearing a mask outside, or doing anything other than groceries and doctor basically.

The numbers will continue to go up with the more tests that are completed. It doesn’t mean that social distancing isn’t working.

It turns out that without make-up artists, hairdressers, cameramen, plastic surgeons, publicists and a whole army of support staff on call 24 hours a day, celebrities are no better than the rest of us. This whole virus thing has taught me all sorts of lessons.

John Bull Take that, Kevin Smith! 😆 But without being able to do a bunch of things they need to do for their JOBS (you’re mainly referring to reality stars and celebs that live to be in the spotlight cuz many actual talented celebs who are known for their talents don’t spend their lives wanting to be treated like gods believe it or not), which means the aforementioned hairdressers, cameraman, publicists etc are also out of jobs, famous people in the entertainment industry can’t claim that they are better than everyone else even though it’s mostly rap stars (cough Kanye cough) and some certain super narcissistic famous faces claiming such thing? Hmm. So they can’t be out there and do the things they went to do in the entertainment industry in the first place - and that is have their face be famous. Who would’ve thought? Yet, that hasn’t stopped some of them from donating millions to help fight this thing. With that, some of them can say that they’ve far been far more useful during this mess than some of the truly worthless politicians (oh yes, here we go) we have in control. You know, politicians that for the longest time downplayed this virus (and of course, the followers of these certain politicians are spreading nonstop conspiracies) and they happily dismissed all the warnings at first. But speaking of rich celebs, you know what’s funny? The good economy some were claiming we had was truly only good for millionaires and billionaires (some of us who still care about facts already knew that, though). The fact that so many are hurting financially after just one missed paycheck, more than indicates that our “booming economy” was merely an illusion with a fraudulent, impotent magicians behind the curtain. How that’s for a realization?

Btw, how are sooooo many of us spending our time? Drum roll please... watching celebs! 😆 Why have the streaming services reported that viewership has gone way up? Because clearly many non-celebs want to be entertained and find a way to escape reality a bit. Maybe not everyone is watching their tv/tablet/phone to see some actors/entertainers/influencers. But clearly, a whole lot of people are. Now, IN NO WAY am I of the opinion that no matter how much money or power you have, you’re a superior human being (I don’t worship demagogues like many who claim to be against the elite do). However, for many of those smugly stating that actors and celebs are useless (and of course, a bunch of the people who keep reminding everyone of this are agenda-driven hypocrites themselves who hate Hollywood while hilariously being as obsessed with Hollywood as anyone can be), the fact is you’re still depending more on those famous folks than they are on you. 😄 🤚 🎤

As far as I know, Kevin hasn't mentioned anything Snyder Cut related in many many months. I know I would love to hear his current thoughts on it because he seems to be in a very unique situation. 1) He's been involved with DC for a long time so he must have personal & professional contacts within DC, people at different levels and different departments. 2) He's talked very highly of Zack and has claimed to have received a lot of info, including tightly held/confidential info, regarding the Snyder Cut and Snyder's full multi-film arc. 3) He has personal relationships with some of the stars and other talent involved with both the original cut and Snyder Cut, most notably Mr. Batman himself, Ben Affleck. Those 3 reasons alone pique my interest. I would love to see/know how his opinions/thoughts have "evolved" over time, since he last spoke about it.
