This song is about giving up our own "Isaac" to God.. Anything that God has sent us, something good that we just can't give up. I've been reflecting on this song today and I thought God spoke to me through this message. Thank you for this wonderful written song.

"My Isaac will be saved"- Most comforting words I could ever hear in my life though it takes so much pain to leave that Isaac. 😭😭😭

So feeling this song! The video reminds me of a time I was praying in my room when I was a single mom... Sometime later that year, I was praying for God to let me come home because I was so tired of being in my circumstances. 3 days after I prayed for God to let me not wake up again, my brother formerly introduce me to my now husband. (This was over 10 years ago!) God is so faithful! I wanted to give up and God was like... just wait a little longer cause it's time for your blessings to come to fruition. Today, we are building our forever home from the ground up to raise our children that God has blessed us with! I never thought I would be here to see this happen for me! He is so faithful!!!!

God is amazing. Almost three weeks ago, my girlfriend out of the blue said she wanted to break up because she felt like God was calling her to be single for awhile so that she can reestablish God as her foundation and not make me an idol in her life. I was totally blindsided and confused and didn’t know what to think because a few months earlier God had given me such peace about her, and I KNEW he told me that she was the one He wanted me to marry. So I was completely broken and confused with her and God- how could God tear us apart when He told me that I was supposed to marry her? And that’s when He reminded me of the story of Abraham and Isaac. Like Abraham, I thought to myself, “If God promised me something and He doesn’t go back on his word, then He will make a way.” God tested Abraham with sacrificing his son; God is testing me with giving up my girlfriend. About a week later, my grandma called and asked how I was doing, and I shared with her that my gf and I were broken up/on a break, and my grandma told me that she and my grandpa did that too. She told me that my grandpa felt the Lord calling him to distance himself from her, and my nana literally said that she was his Isaac. Immediately I was struck and knew that God was specifically speaking to me saying that He’s testing me by asking me to give up my Isaac. And now, almost three weeks later, after a rough day yesterday of having doubts, God once again is reminding me that she is only my Isaac. She’s not gone; she’s with Him. Thank you God for speaking to us in ways that we can’t even comprehend. I hope this encourages anyone reading this.
