the only hard bosses are abs rad,nightmare king grimm,pure vessel and normal rad but i could say sly is also hard but i think hes gonna have a hard time with kings pass hornet since shes fast it will be hard for him to win

Man I remember back when I was fighting this for the first time thinking that I’d started getting good, little did I know the game hadn’t even started trying to be hard yet

I’ve also started playing the game recently! Great to see that I’m not the only one struggling with HK bosses 😂 Can’t wait to see the video for the Soul Master!!

Just in case no one has told you yet when you're fighting bosses it can be good to maintain center stage and move little bits at a time, this way you're not flailing your character around needlessly and taking unnecessary damage. You're doing great! Edit: Typo

the pokemon champion battle theme in the background! gods its so accurate

It's really satisfying to see you learned you can pogo (attack below yourself and get that mini-jump) the blade attacks in mid of the battle :) I suggest you to try doing it with almost every thing in this game, so you can see what you can and can not pogo. good luck with this game, cuz is really really fun and full of details, secrets... I just finished a couple days ago and, though I'm not a pure completionist, I'm still looking forward to beat some optional challenges I've got left, and I encourage you to do the same!! Enjoy the big journey of that little bug!! :)

Only took me two attempts for Mantis Lords, remember to aleays study attacks first, then go in for the kill!

Watching this, its equivalent to watching the "Path of Pain" because it looks painful. Been there and done that. I remember sucking so bad with HK that I thought the game was impossible. Over time, you understand the pattern and things slow down and you're able to get them with better pattern recognition. Can't wait for Silksong.

Good job! I have 2 more objectives before the final boss and i havent beat the first phase yet

This one took me a while too. The music is fantastic though. There's a different version of this fight in a dlc. Try it, it's crazy.

you can point the move stick down and press the attack button to bounce off of spikes and some enemies/weapons

The most important thing in hollow knight, is to power up as you play through the game. Find mask shards, charms and notches, upgrade your nail, and addapt your "build" according to what you're fighting. If you're willing to grind a bit, you will have an easier time overall. It is still hard, but easier.

i love how sisters of battle are still a thing. (spoiler if u click down) eventually, u fight all 3

Oh just wait till the tougher version of this fight in godhome. Quite possibly the most chaotic fight ever made.

For future reference, in the boss room there are lifeblood hearts on the left wall. Climb up the right wall and crystal dash to the left, then simply break the wall

or just wall jump climb up by the wall on the left? no need for crystal dash like this

This is kinda useless info now but you can parry the spinning swords (look down & hit) & if you walk past the lords instead of instantly challenging you can mantis claw to the top left. Theres 2 lifeblood hearts behind a breakable wall

From someone who has played hundreds and hundreds of hours: Fantastic job! Mantis Lords kicked my ass the first time I fought them, and they quickly became my favorite boss fight in this game. You got this ^•^

Don’t let anyone lie and tell you mantis lords didn’t slap them around their first play through 😂 them and soul master are the first real difficulty spike

funny story, I found mantis lord late game (after beating 2 dreamers, with unupgraded dash, double jump), manage to beat em first try. But fought soul master early on (only have un-upgraded dash), daym he's tough as hell. Those fake ground slam really got me every time.

Just wait until sisters of battle

This is like the easiest boss. It's a slow simple dance. Very easy but satisfying.

If a boss feels hard, justtry to progress somewhere else and you'll find handy upgrades. Waiting for you to beat radiant Sisters of Battle :)

@@CreepyBrawler Doubly so in steel soul mode. I completed it mostly thanks to caution and patience - I just power-upped as much as I could with as small risks as possible.

Coolest fight in the game

Looks like me (: Although it's one of the easiest boss fights but most challenging for the player. There is a sudden increase difficulty in the early game and you are confused about what to do

i want to see you beat watcher knights im kinda stuck on them started like week ago (17h in)and im grinding so hard to prepare for this battle that i got 3masks 2vessels and almost all charms and some charm notches idk how much tho and almost maxed nail and spells i will try to kill them maybe i will win i feel like i overprepered but they prob will destroy me edit: nevermind they are week i just when i fighted them first time skipped a lot by using dash and claw and i skipped duble jump, nail upgrades, spell upgrades, abilities, charms and charm notches so yea they arent that strong just dont go to them early game (that was boss that i was came just after beating mantis lords)

@@kaus05 i did skip it was pretty easy just jump Dash into wall and jump from that wall actually i did this first try and i got totalny destroyed by watcher Knights

Maaan, I started playing about a month or so ago. I have 70+ hours on the game now. It’s definitely a journey. ENJOY it! You’ll look back and these bosses will NOT be a challenge in comparison to what you have coming 🔥🔥😮‍💨

If you think mantis lords are hard then you won’t like trying to get the last 2 endings

I fought the lords, not very hard once you get the pattern

Just beat him a few days ago. My tip is that he isn’t that much different that troupe master Grimm. Just faster and with some slight tweaks. You can do some of the same things you would do with normal Grimm but you have to find different ways to counter some of his modified attacks.
