Iron meets laminate - how angry is that?
I'm not the causer but obviously the only one who still has hope to mend this hole improperly.

That’s a good idea, great vid. The hardest part has gotta be lining up the grain pattern, especially on a light finish with detailed grain like this. TBH You could have just glued it and it would have been unnoticed by most, if the grain is correct.
I just superglued the piece that came off my floor and not a single person whos been in my living room since has ever mentioned it oncest lol. Great video though !

Not the best finish, probably would have been a better idea to not use the missing piece and paint on the pattern but it's a decent enough repair and should last. I'd have probably used a matt varnish though.

LoL I put rugs over my laminate floor because I don't want any hole.

Even without practice, the repair is done in 15 minutes. With a little practice it can be done even faster.
