Can we talk about how perfect this song choice is withing Shrek 2? It works for multiple characters at once. The king is waiting for the hero in real Shrek, Fairy godmother is waiting for the hero inside her son, Fiona is waiting for her hero within real Shrek who will come and resque her.

If you weren't reenacting parts of the scene while listening to her sing then you haven't seen the movie to its full point.

As a person who knew of this cover since it’s release I would like to tell you a story: One day I was watching a very rare and exciting new installment of a series my friend got me into. Well as the white haired hero was taken by the long dead jellyfish bride, and as he was pulled with strings against his charge, a pink haired princess who can heals everyone except herself, a familiar tune starts to come on. My lips start to sound out the the first words without me even thinking of what I was saying, because I’ve done it many times before. I realized what was happening and screamed and belted out, singing along as I was so happy and excited as we watch the princess fight and escape with her hero in tow. I love Gwain Saga 008 just for this. Thank you Geo and Anna.

Believe it or not, this is the song that helps me get up every day. Yes, this version specifically. There is this... special charm that this one has that none other have. And I love it. School was taking a hefty toll and I honestly felt like I was becoming jaded and burnt out, and the insecure career path of a professional singer didn't look appealing enough to pursue, so I thought singing was just going to become one of those things about me that dies...
