That's not just luck and there's more to the shooting than in this video. If you're playing on na and you're from the eu you will need to aim to the left of them, imagine the shot is coming from your shoulder not the end of the musket or pistal. When you spawn go to a tree and shoot it from 3m away and determin how servere this is, as it does change daily. If you keep missing all of a sudden the swing may have changed so try shooting shoulders hight at 30m to the the right of them. But usually sticking to the left side of them works as a rule.at 30m = A mm left for riflemen, left side of shoulder for musket and pistal is hard to explain. This technique is true but less so on your regional server.

I realized that ping affects accuracy alot. Using a pistol is better for higher ping players like myself

My first game and kill was a flute man. I successfully got to the enemy's back line by going around the edge of the map and convinced them to let me stay, a chinese player wanted to kill me but wiffed because I ducked. I shot him back and killed him and then his team 'rightfully' avenged him, the jerks.

Never managed to play a rifleman - they're always taken. Instead I just get shot to shit by them from a distance.

Yeah they can be a little over powered at times, i'm surprised they haven't reduced the reload rate, to say half the speed of the musket, that would at least slow down the damage. + yeah they can be hard to get, it seems to be a first come first serve so those who can load in first get to grab them. Having said that almost all the shots that can be done with the rifle can also be done with the musket its just a lot harder.

I love this game, but mostly because of the clusterfuck of people using proximity voice chat. Never been in such a quiet match as you're showing here, and I don't intend to! Great video though. Thanks a bunch, good sir!

I can't shoot for crap in this game so I was very glad to see this video. I'm going to try Kentucky windage and drop compensation next time I'm playing. I'll comment again after trying. Thanks for posting this!

nice helpful video, I would get 7 kill streak then next game get 3 kills entire game, felt so random the aiming and kills lol knew with a musket need a lot of luck to hit the targets lol

Thanks for the tip, first game after this video I got 10 kills! Second game... I snuck behind the enemy team and with my crosshair on about 3 of them from 10 feet away I hit air, so tilted I insta quit the game. Still though going to go back for more later. Thank you!

Tldr: aim up a bit

Despite the fact that I picked most of this up naturally, it was still a nice watch. Though I find myself scoring higher than a number of Riflemen as a regular Infantryman; It's quite amusing to be honest.

Glad you enjoyed it :-D Your exactly right all the shots here can also be made with the smoothbore muskets. I often play as the line infantry as well. However, for this i wanted to be able to make reliable long distance shots for the recording, it still took me about 8 hours to record and edit it all, if I was trying to get them all with the regular infantry I think i'd still be going haha

No not always but for the purposes of trying to record the footage for the video it made it much easier :-D

My problem is that i have to play on a US server with a ping of 100+ ms because european servers are ghost towns :/

Dude i thought I've seen gameplay of someone actually aiming down the iron sights of the rifle. Am i thinking of a different game or is this just a feature nobody uses?

Game must have changed a lot becuase I dont see anyone landing shots like the ones you're making there.

What still sucks to this day is the guns aren’t accurate as in real life. So they are even less accurate which makes combat a historians nightmare.

@@nipnop7995 well first off get good at not thinking but other than that I’m not really sure how to explain it your muscles and brain just eventually know where to aim to have the best chance but I must say aiming without a bayonet is much better and also muskets are better than rifles in my opinion . Also listening to music while playing helps to train your mind to not think as much

Yes I was thinking the same a musket is still highly accurate at 50m. Even at 70m it still somewhat accurate. The developers don't know the accuracy of those guns, I'm pretty sure they have been only watching movies or something. I don't even think they have shot one. The belief that they are that inaccurate is a complete misconception. The Rifles in reality shot extremely well at 100 and far passed that. They tried to nail the accuracy in game but to me I think they did a terrible job the only thing they did right was add bullet drop.

@@krombopulosmicheal2436 my Kentucky rifle can take out soda bottles at about 100 yards or so. I was surprised with the accuracy and quickly increased the distance to test it. Super fun

every time i launch the game my entire computer hard boots :(
