The only disappointing thing about this awesome scene is that Kenshiro didn't tell the giant badguy "You are already dead" before he exploded. A whole movie about kenshiro, and he doesn't say 'the line' even once?

the drawing & the effects are NNNIIICCCEEE the old series rocks & this rocks even more

I recommend watching the first anime, then once you've finished that... Use your own best judgement to decide. It depends on who you most identify with. But personally, I'd read the manga; the last few arcs, which have never been adapted (WHY!!??) are some of the most emotionally moving.

When you hear "You wa shock" start playing, you know that your internal organs are about to become external.

If you mean the song that pipes in at 3:09 it's "Yu wa Shock!" redone, and I can hear the lyrics better in this version. It's also the original opening for the 1983 TV series, these OVAs are a re-imagination of.

What's the name of the song after You Wa Shock in the struggle with the soldiers? In original edition there's no You Wa Shock with the arrival of Kenshiro, but only the song I wish to know the name.
