Great video - very entertaining to watch. Just a quick tip: Basically if you want to join the allies as Brazil and not get kicked every few months then you have to do the “good neighbour policy” tree. Once the USA joins the allies you will be able to do a 35 day focus which puts you in and won’t get you kicked.

The alliance system as well as peace (conditional surender) can do with an overall rework. They could make alliences be based on some sort of score of power and a territory division agreement so the allience between the soviets, the UK, and the US is more historical. Also not all wars should be until capitulation. Some machinism of partial justification and partial gains has to be added

I also think partial gains and white peace based on conquering your claims should work IMO, why should I capitulate the UK or Portugal as South Africa if I hold my African claims for more than a year

The ship on the front is called Graf Spee and it wasn’t a battleship though the British called it a “pocket-battleship” due to its above average guns for a cruiser. In general it was closer to a heavy or “large” cruiser somewhat similar to the Alaska or Azuma classes.

I've actually had similar questions about the AI; playing as Communist Hungary, part of the Comintern, and being gobsmacked when the Soviets randomly declare war on Free France. Considering I was literally surrounded by members of the Allies except on my one front with Germany, I ignored their call to arms for some reason...

Medium howitzers are way better on tanks. Stick some extra cannons on too. Only thing that matters vs. AI is soft attack, and *enough* armour to not get pierced. Keep reliability above 80%. Medium flame tank companies help a lot for terrain buffs too. Hope this helps.

when you join portugal you can get the colonies aswell.. there is also two options in the empire tree.. One for the axis that allow war with neighbours and one with the allies. Also, Brazil has more bonus to planes and soldiers than tanks.

I don't get why you always play on historical. The ai gameplay is always the same and the outcome is always the same. You know from the start how to win or survive and there are no surprises. Non historical should be the way to go where everything goes random and you really have to consider your decisions.
