Since Bormann was in charge of the Volkssturm, it’s not really a big surprise that the anthem in volk und gewher. Still a nice choice of the anthem

many people think that this topic does not suit Bormann, but if you know its history, it is obvious that it suits him perfectly! a conservative fanatically devoted to Hitler's ideology, a song is perfect for him, which is a symbol of the inglorious demise of the great Reich when hundreds of thousands of people were driven to slaughter, although it was obvious to any adequate person that the war was lost

@@xXShmendanXx Speer wants to uphold Hitler's leagacy even more than the other Führer candidates. Unlike Bormann who is mostly motivated by his lust for power, Speer is genuinely driven by his loyalty to Nazism which is what makes him so scary.
thats more of the Goebbels vibe than Bormann

Horst Wessel would fit considering Bormann was more affiliated with the political aspect of the Nazi Party and less with the military and the flag for his symbol its the original Nazi Party logo used at rallies

Were the SA ever really armed? The Waffen SS were and so were all the Volkssturm. The chant was revived at different stages of history.

he was in power for much longer, just unlike Goebbels or Himmler, he was very invisible to the public and historians, but in reality he was one of the most cruel and influential Nazis and if Germany had won the war, he would most likely sooner or later oust everyone from Hitler's entourage except himself, which he did at the end of the war

absolutely love this music! in all other versions, it is much more calm and depressive, but this sounds like a real obsession with war, which perfectly illustrates the fanatical desire of the Nazis and Hitler to continue the war until no stone is left unturned from Germany if victory is impossible
