If any dominion refuses the proposal, you can actually annex ALL dominions to complete the last focus. (based on personal experience) The focus requirement stated that either ALL dominions have to accept or not exist. Although it takes much much longer to complete through this method but still better than a restart I think.

When doing the civil war, declare war on all the dominiums and when you finish the civil war, annex all of them. You get a free war goal if they are still the puppets of the opposing side. When you do that, you can bypass the development in the colonies focuses, and rush to imperial federation. Make sure you have completed commonwealth ties before doing the civil war.

You can also bypass almost everything by annexing the dominions after a civil war. What I like to do is rush indian autonomy then start a civil war and all you need to do is take the U.S. make a puppet then take it back from Mexico

Well, I may have ended up playing until 1957, but today I finally did it ; One Empire and New World Order completed in a single run - plus Tour De France, Lethal Straight and The Puppetmaster as bonuses from forming collaboration governments after the war. You know, I love how with By Blood Alone all these guides saying to puppet someone for the fleet suddenly just need to erase that detail. Being able to snag a fleet in a peace deal even with full annexation is just beautiful.

In theory you could’ve gotten more cores. France has a focus to core some of its colonial land, after they you could get the Franco-British union thus giving you all of those colonial lands too. Also some generals. Edit: you can help this along by puppeting France and letting Germany take them.

For "One Empire" achievement it is required to have all countries in a faction YOU are a leader of. It doesn't require entire world to be conquered unless they're mot fascist (if you're going for new world order). It may be easier to join japan since they will clean up China for you and it will save you headache with invading them later on

I think there’s another ‘ever’ in there. That and when I listen to it I sometimes here “be the slaves” inferring there are other slaves. Edit: there’s also a ‘shall’ so never ever ever shall be slaves.

Bittr - thanks for powering through the diaper drama to bring us this great vid. I went for the one world conquest achievement a while ago and it took far too long. By 1949 I was still picking off minors one at a time. Then just before the end a patch broke my ironman, and even wind back to previous version didn't rescue it. Vowed never to have another go, but you have inspired me, and the 'quick justify while at war with a major' trick I didn't know and will save so much time. Have a good day, MMM

Thanks for your tutorial man! I worked through this and had a very long campaign against Japan in NSB, because they attacked me when I didn't even man my border with them, so they took most supply depots before I could reach the frontline :\ I ended up nuking every single province in Japan, just for the lolz. I really really hate the navy so I never organised that, as a result, Japan ruled the Pacific and Southeast Asia. In 1948 I finally fought through China and the last nations South American nations and managed to land on the Japanese homeland, giving me the "One Empire" and "Around Eurasia in 80 days" achievements :D Excited to get those two out of my achievement list, I'm always bothered when there are very generic "conquer everyone" achievements in my list of available achievements :P Thanks for your guide ^^

There's always some RNG, even if done perfectly. But the chances are really really low

The first big achievement I aimed for was this, and I played the UK soo much to get it that I've learned enough to actually play decently from being an absolute newbie. Trial by fire i guess.

i just messed up france, took too long in us, so the germans already started the war. i did get some of the france though. the big problem is that i forgot about the italians which joined axis already unfirtunetely need to deal with them and germans later.

as soon as i did the march on london i lost 66% stability and a civil war started. :(

I wonder if you have any thoughts on feeding New Zealand the states to form Polynesia before integrating them (yes, I know, cores on Pacific islands are literally a drop in the ocean compared to the rest of the Imperial Federation, but it's for the memes). You would have to do it on ahistorical so that might produce some issues, and you'd have to take out Japan earlier, but I'm mostly thinking of the autonomy level. They have to be a Dominion which I think is still theoretically possible for fascists if you disable Death or Dishonor, but it's about the timing of the autonomy reducing effects. Thoughts?

One Tutorial i saw, probably long out of date now, but neither the less, after finishing Consolidate the Isles focus, don't invade Ireland go strait for Anglosphere, then invade/annex USA and when you return for Ireland it should be Guaranteed by France, so you kill two birds with one stone, Oh When it comes to the Imperial Conference i Recommend saving around 500pp, and unless they've changed it guarantee the independence of the dominions that immediately gets their opinions up around 70 if i recall correctly

fun fact if you don't want to waste an hour waiting for the 44% for London just don't pick it, placing the troops is the hard part I would always recommend doing increasing it in other ways I prefer not having to waste time setting up units

I spent an hour of my life setting up all the units in the puppets, only for the 6% chance of my FIRST MARCH causing civil war. I’m just at a loss of words

One of my longest and most fun playthroughs getting these achievements. Most recent patch, i did everything as in this guide. However my war with Germany ground to a halt until my production ramped up and i could get enough planes in the air. Following the defeat of the Axis, I went after Japan as I found myself at war with them through their attack on the Phillipines (my puppet) I tried to hasten the defeat of China so that i could cap Japan straight after and get a 2 for 1. However i accidentally sent troops into too high of a victory point in Japan, captulated them and so ended up having to rush troops into china to stop the Chinese taking everything back! Following that i defeated Italy, Switzerland and all the other remaining minor nations. Where this really got challenging and fun was that, due to the high war score that the Soviets got attacking Germany, I now faced a very large and well armed comintern - Poland, Czech, Romania, Hungary and East Germany - plus soviet republics in South East Asia and central Africa. So i ended the game with a huge war on multiple fronts involving thousands of divisions, with some hairy moments due to the complexity of managing it all. Was a really satisfying way to end the game rather than a simple steam roll. I finished in 1954!

I have yet to complete a world conquest (as Germany and Italy, easier on the early game) before the historical end of WWII, woah, you are BRAVO!

I did this back in August by keeping only Canada then going to war with Spain and France before going to war with the U.S. (which somehow afterwards became a mixture of a German puppet and my land) then I went to war with Germany which was easy cuz they had no divisions on the western front then came the biggest war which was the ussr which took nearly two years to takeover before I went to war with Japan which was extremely easy. After all majors were taken out in 1947 I went after all my former subjects and I was able to form the federation in 1949. Then it was just simple clean up. My game ended in 1964 but I still got the achievements.

I always thought forming Imperial Federation would change my tag and failing the achievement, now I'm relieved that I don't need to worry about it in the next attempts.

This could be fun if you do it with friends, not in speedrun but in just one takes the economy and political power, one can control europe, one controls asia, one america and then you have less forces but more fun because the wars becomes chalenges that you need to overcome. each force woulld have a lot of power.

I was so lucky, when I attacked Belgium it founded an alliance with Luxembourg, this made luxembourg a major country and I could justify on countries really quickly. But due to my foolishness I declared war on Turkey not realzing that they were guarenteed by Germany, so I had to restart.

I wish they would make a new rts hybrid 3rd person story based game with the best aspects of all the iconic rts games through the years. Starts in ancient history, you have insane control over everything by zooming out, and you can zoom all the way into singular units. The unit could be doing battle, spy work, diplomatic work, etc. you can set things up and fast forward through time if you want. It basically lets you set up the entire world as an empire or new world order and literally build it too look exactly how you want. Depending on your skill you can reshape the entire globe. Make new countries. Bring old countries back. Get rid of existing ones. Create entire new ethnic groups and religions. You can fly to the moon or any other place in the solar system. Space warfare if you want. You have the ability to literally walk across the entire planet if you want.
