I’m pretty sure Vietnam stays neutral in a war between the US and China. They’d obviously prefer an American victory but they have nothing to gain and everything to lose from getting involved. That’s pretty much the same for all of the ASEAN countries. Japan, Australia, and the UK are the most likely to get involved, followed by other NATO members, and less likely India or South Korea. Unless North Korea tried striking at an opportunity which is pretty 50/50, I can’t see most of NATO or SK getting involved.

@@taureon_ Yes and no. In real life, that's the primary reason why the EU unlike the US, isn't too involved in South East Asia. Japan and South Korea are friendly and westernized in terms of the political foundation but the attention is rightly on Russia. The thing is; today, Russia and China cooperate because Russia wasn't integrated in the NATO when the chance was there ( you can read up on that on Wikipedia, it's an interesting story ) to counter the NATO but really, they are not in a position to risk a direct war - and NATO isn't interested in such a conflict either. Nukes made war too expensive and risky. So, if Chinese rockets will be stationed in Moscow, this scenario will make a lot more sense. If that happens, however, the EU members will also massively ramp up their military budget because the whole European population will be more supportive of these measures. For example; right now even meeting the 2% required by the membership treaty is an issue in Germany ( I am German ) because there hasn't been any need for a full-strength army in thirty years that politics were able to translate to the general public, the wars in the middle east didn't make for good press so to speak. If Russia and China were seen as an alliance ( and they are already practising manoeuvres together so no formal treaties exist, we can all take a wild guess at what that inclines ), this wouldn't be the case any more which is also why the rhetoric in concerning this part of geopolitics is changing in the EU and in the west in general. Another aspect is that the US simply inhibits direct enemy activity through its massive military. While I am not a supporter of Trump by any means ( just like his predecessors who had similar positions ) he is not wrong when he says that Americans are paying for the peace of the western world. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pacifism_in_Germany en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russia%E2%80%93NATO_relations en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bundeswehr#Cold_War_1955%E2%80%931990 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sino-Russian_relations_since_1991

@@Arcaryon To be honest, even though many people aren't happy that most of Europe depends on British, French and American (mostly American) defence, there really isn't anything wrong with that. No country with nukes are ever going to start a conflict. For the first time in history, we no longer need to pour huge amounts of money to our militaries and underfund all over sectors. We don't need a royal navy that rules the waves as the Brits used to do. We don't need an amazing war strategist who absolutely changes everything we know about war like Napoleon did with France. We don't need big armies, because there are no threats, or threats that are absolutely miniscule and can be solved with diplomacy. So that begs the question, why are countries like the US, Russia and UK spending huge amounts of money in their armies, yet there are no big threats. Why can't we be like countries such as Germany who barely spends anything in their army, and yet is extremely peaceful and has a foreign policy to use pacifism, instead of jumping into battle like the Americans do all the time. I also guess, that that is too, another public sentiment that most of us ask ourselves from time to time.

👀I think brics could win Lots of African countries would be pressured by their people to join brics in a war against Europe 👀their militaries individually may not be much but together they could be dangerous, especially if they sync and pull a fucken 2 front troop reinforcement in Europe and south America, (I know lots of African countries lack the naval vassels to do this even if they work together but still a cool thought of what might happen, especially with Ukraine War raising tensions in the security sector
