Hello! This was very helpful. I'm Year 2, Level 4 Magizoology. I currently have 160 brown, 69 red, 87 blkue, and 50 yellow books. I have already unlocked/completed NIffler, Portlock, Bowtruckle, Fairy, and Abraxan. I like completing Hagrid's quests to build the friendship. I'm torn, would it be more strategic to save up for the Thestral, or go ahead and get the Chinese Fireball? I'm leaning towards the dragon, but would love your perspective. Thanks! :)

I would suggest the Chinese fire ball as well. It's both a better creature AND it has a Hagrid SQ attached to it, which also happens to have an interesting storyline 😉

Hi! I must ask - how?!? I'm the same year, bit lower Magizoology level can't even adopt Bowtruckly or buy any of the brown book pets yet. Any tips? I recently rejoined, so a bit lost how to grind them since relying on events only seems too long a journey too collect even for a single creature

It takes exactly that. At least at the beginning. And it does take a while, tho not as much as it used to - I remember having saved up 60 Brown books within half a year, only bringing me halfway towards buying a kneazle kitten. But those where dark days 😅 Now it definitely takes much less time, but in year 2 with no creatures events are your best option. And progressing in Clubs and doing the daily tasks and stamp card.

Salamander for sure. Also good and similar cost would be Hippogriff and frost Salamander. All give a very similar amount of books, but Hippogriff gives a few more Red books than the other two. If you have the 60 blue books, ten you might Even go for the Quintaped - gives back 20 Brown books, 16 Red, 4 blue and 3 yellow + it has a side quest attached to it. The other creatures mentioned above give around 7/8 Brown books and 10-16 Red books, plus blue and yellow books (those about the same amount).

Hey! I'm at level 3 Magizoology in year 2 and I'm torn whether to get the Diricawl, Bowtruckle or Fire Salamander. I do not want to gey the fairy yet as it seems not really worth it . Only thing is...I would need to save a few blue and yellow notebooks to adopt the Fire Salamander it will take me slightly longer but I'mnearly there. . Which one do you think I should get first?

I would probably say the Diricawl.

What about the porlock

I'm year 2 and just hit level 3 magizoo and I have 25 brown 40 red 15 blue and 9 gold. Should I adopt something for now or wait and save to get a dragon later?

Well, you have to be a higher level to be able to adopt the dragons, and the only way to level up is by maxing out creatures, so I'd say yes, adopt something now. The dragons will Come.

@@Alex-pm4tq If you don't yet have the Bowtruckle, then that. But you can also go for Diricawl. Both good options.

Will they give you the same amount of rewards everytime it's leveled up or is it the sum of the rewards given?

It's the total sum. Each level you get a different combination of 3 rewards. However the Brown books are usually rewarded within the first few levels.

In level 3 quintaped is definitely the Best option, but it is expensive. Both Salamander and frost Salamander are also good options and a bit cheaper, as well as Hippogriff. You need to Max out around 2 creatures in level 3 to reach level 4 magizoology.

Am I the only one here who adopt creatures only for the side quests? 😅 I don't like stacking my side quests because it seemed to be increasing the longer I play If you ask me in what order I buy? My principle is to quickly adopt the creature when you have enough notebooks, starting with the cheaper creatures all the way to the top Right now I'm on Year 3 Chapter 9 and I already have Niffler, Porlock, Fairy, Bowtruckle, Abraxan, Chinese Fireball, and Glow Bug 😂 I really wish I can adopt ALL OF THEM before graduation

I would probably say Kappa, because it gives 12 Brown books - more than any of the other creatures you listed, and it's cheaper than some of them as well.

It gives only 1 Brown book and 12 Red books, which is very little compared to other creatures. But Abraxan is one of the creatures in Hagrid's Side quests. If you are not bothered with getting through those as quickly as possible, then Salamander or Hippogriff are way better options.

was wondering if you had a list of the prices & all possible rewards for all the creatures at the reserve that are currently avaliable. the creatures that i currently have & their levels are niffler[10], porlock[10], fairy[10], bowtruckle[10], kappa[10], acromantula[10], imp[9], knarl[8], giant dung beetle[5], & fire crab[4]. creatures that i need to reobtain due to having to replace my game file due to sabatoge on a short term 1 time only quidditch achievment questline: chinese fireball, chimera, chupacabra, hippogriff, diricawl, & abraxan. interested in getting either from the creature itself or due to hagrid questline: hebridean black dragon, opaleye, welsh green dragon, hungarian horntail, norwegian ridgeback, ukrainian ironbelly, swedish short snout, matagot, unicorn, griffin, thunderbird, manticore, fire/frost salamanders, ashwinder, thestral, yeti, hodag, pixie, doxy, augurey, gridylow, quintaped, leocrotta, mooncalf, graphorn, dugbog. because they are avaiable: billywig, plimpy, murtlap, gnome, mountain troll, flobberworm. however i am currently at lv. 6 for magizoology & at year 3 chapter 6 section 5/7 in story. currently have 7 pages, 47 brown, 38 red, 16 blue, & 17 yellow books even though the library is eating up the yellow books. should i work on wiping out all the critters that only require red books then those that require blue books while saving the yellow booked critters for last. any advice will be appreciated. about 30 more gems then i can get the cat from the store then work on getting the 160 gems for the mouse/rat. need to get the puffskein[80], mini owl[140], mini cat[120], mini dog[120], bat[130], lizard[100], bunny[110], spider[100], & snail[50] but the brown books are taking a long time to obtain. currently working on the sphinx club short term achievement quest line in the early section of part 2 just past flobberworm merula in the artifact room hide & seek game task.

OK, for one, stop doing library study with friends. You are wasting books. As for all creature rewards - I recently uploaded a video with just that. It doesn't include the prices tho. Around the same time I uploaded a couple more videos or creatures - an updated top 10 and best creatures for Brown books. Feel free to check those out. The main thing is to understand why you want the creatures - is it the SQ's, or the rewards. Because they can be handy for energy, Brown books and Even gems sometimes, but the rest of the books you will be spending rather than earning back.

@@MsMunchkinHP part of it is to obtain the creatures in the reserve while another is because of the hagrid quests. need the brown books for the animals in the store & some of the clothes, the energy so i can complete tasks while obtaining achievements in shorter time, & need the gems due to most of the clothes with some of the accessories/dormitory items require gems to obtain. i've been studing with freinds for the chocolate frogs to help with the chocolate frog event currently going on.

It definitely takes a lot of time. Make sure to do the daily planner and stamp card. If you can, buy the magical milestones key for gems. And do events - Constelaltion event is among the easier ones. And chocolate Frog event helps, but I recomend actually buying packs for coins to speed up the process. That's if you have coins to spare of course. You'll get there, don't worry.
