the symbols on the doors from left to right is 0-9. no need to take a pic of the "cheat sheet". just count from 0 to 9 from the left to the right of the door.

also, if you look closely, the unicorn has one horn and = 1, the dragon has two horns = 2, the snake is three-headed = 3 and so on :p

@SwanyPlaysGames My 2 huge concerns are: the lockpicking mini game, it is extreamely complex and I like to open everything. Next I use mouse and keyboard and the controls seem rough. Till this date I have not seen a video on youtube that uses PC, only PS5

1:39 "pretty much impossible" Me who explore on foot from north end to south end of map. Yup, I was wasting my time explore without broom and ability. This is one of the things in this game which I dislike. Even though the number is very few, there are puzzles which require transformation, where you can only get during very late of the game.

I've watched a several different videos while waiting to get my PS4 copy. And most, if not all, say the same thing. You are constantly getting better gear so don't get attached to anything. As for the "chest save/reload" option, don't waste your time unless it's a "VERY special chest." Chances are you will be looking for a specific piece of gear and then it will be outdated (even IF it's legendary) by a newer piece of gear with in a couple levels. This is just what I've heard. I'm literally still at the beginning, have to go meet Nat at Boars Head hamlet. I've just been exploring, collecting field guide pages throughout Hogwarts and Hogsmeade. Why? To get more money, XP and gear so I'm stronger than the "required level." For instance. The Nat quest I have I have to be lvl 4. I'm lvl 12. 🤷‍♂️😏😎

You can and should sell them for coin but you have to visit the shops pretty often to do that. There aren't many gear slots so sometimes you have to just delete something so you can pick something better up.

Fuck that im walking and enjoying it. As soon as i could i explored everything!!!! So what if i have to go back*.To me is double the fun.

Should we wait to open those legendary guaranteed chests? Till we're higher level - if so what level?

You can sell the clothing at the vendors! And ugly gear can still be worn but made invisible!

Some other people say to explore the entire school first then unlock each “door locks” whatever that is because apparently If you take long and wait it’ll be harder to unlock apparently? Is this true does anyone know?

I think waiting until your a higher level to do the door puzzles is more about getting better gear drops in the chests behind the puzzle doors.

Helpful tips my guy, but at the end where you say delete the clothing noooo 😅 everyone should sell that clothing helps make more in game coin to buy upgrades and potions/plants

The devs should tie appearances to the respective slot rather than individual items. I find that I have to keep changing appearances when I’m cycling through better armor early game

I’m bout to order 5 deluxe copies 🥴

Nah. I'll go on foot to get some cardio in. Not really, but I'll go on foot mainly to fight whatever comes at me....like some spiders or wolves. The wolves helped me with the dodging so I could pass that assignment to learn Expelliarmus.

The transmog system reminds me of DC heros online where any clothing item can be turned into a vanity item. Why doesn't every RPG do this. Seriously my 2077 character looks more like a low end male hooker than a bad ass because those clothes have by far the best stats.

For that door riddles... You don't need the paper. Down Left is 0. Up is 1,2,3 arround the door and 9 is down right. They all are math. Addition... Simple stuff....

I’m loving this game so far! My only gripe is what is the basic spell? It’s red like stupefy, but he never says the incantation

The door with the symbols/number is super easy. You dont need a cheat sheet. You can tell which one is which. For example nr 5 since the creature have five legs, or two with 2 horns. Some creatures are however harder to associate with a number but this made me not needing a cheat sheet.

You really can't do anything but walk around without the proper main quest tools I gotta admit I got a Lil nervous playing so much of the story but it's really not that bad after u get the things u need...

great video but I feel like a lot of these tips are just basic things that are very common for these types of open world story games like Assassin's Creed, The Witcher, etc.
