Hogenakkal falls 2021 | Complete guide to Parisal/Coracle Ride
This video provides you a complete guide to Hogenakkal waterfalls, one of the famous one day tourist location and weekend getaway location in Tamil Nadu. Hogenakkal waterfalls is in South India on the Kaveri river on the border between Dharmapuri district of Tamil Nadu and Chamrajnagar district of Karnataka. It is situated at a distance of 350 KM(approx.) from Chennai. This waterfalls is sometimes referred to as Niagara waterfalls of India.
Our team explored Hogenekkal in March before the present lockdown, the ride to Hogenekkal through the forest was beautiful. We were able to sight many birds and small animals. This place is one of the must visit destinations for adventure freaks and travel lovers. The best season to visit Hogenekkal is to visit during monsoon.
Our experience wonderful, since we visited the place after lockdown there was very less tourists and the hotels were mostly vacant. We managed to get a budget hotel and started our boating journey. The govt price per parisal(boat) is 750. Before the boating activity, we selected the fish and chicken for our lunch and handed over it to the cook which will be delivered once the boating and oil massage is over. The boating was adventurous, we were able to purchase soft drinks and fried fish in the Parisal. Followed by boating we had a great oil massage and lunch which we ordered earlier. We suggest our viewers to confirm the Oil Massage and Lunch prices before starting your boat because we faced few issues in their prices.

there is one amazing route from palacode in dharmapuri. thirumalavadi via anchetty forest reserve to manchi malai - hoggenkal.. very adventures forest route with wild life. next time take that route. best option is motorcycle, car maybe cant go..
