Years of harnessing the power of the sun through the roof obviously gave this old jeep the gumption it needed.

He made it. Cost him two doors and a rocker panel. Pretty impressive jeep.

Excellent driver! Not many would try this, and those that would, would likely not make it. Excellent driver!

Good driver, lots of skills and guts, you have my admiration. Had to watch many times, amazing.

I'm not an off road guy and even I recognize that was 100% pure skill and fantastic equipment.

That was a Real Jeep, when they had the 4.0 straight six, they ran like a ‘scalded’ dog. Soo strong…. Matt

I had an AMC Eagle with the same engine. Short-wheelbase two-door SX4-I always said it was basically a CJ with a car body...Same exact drivetrain,and completely unstoppable. All I did was throw away the stock exhaust,including converter...Took it to Meineke (Northeast Muffler Shop Chain) with a new Sonic Turbo muffler on the back seat...It was a whole different car. My first,too. 1989,I was 17. Damn,I wish I had it now.

That’s the place to go at the end of your wheeling trip to get that underbody wash, would save a couple of hours of pressure washing haha

@@johnjeffery6638 i rolled my 1st one off roading. The 2nd i sold had 211000 miles on it..still ran great but i started my own company and needed something different. The 3rd i finally sold with 411000 miles. The 4th i had to sell to survive after 2008-9 housing crash and i lost everything. The 5th i hit a nice looking 150lb 6pt buck at 60mph sold for parts.. Theres always a story behind everything..lol

Hey bud I'm sure I should have described it better, and I'm sure there was more than $1200 in it and it was all stuff that was already on it when bought, he just got a hell.of a deal and paid $1200 , so this became his $1200 special, sorry for any confusion, getting a lot of bashes over this one especially from the tree huggers lol

Ours had a 6 inch lift and some super offset wide boys I miss that beast always broke the front driveshaft somehow doing something stupid otherwise excellent vehicle

Great driving It made me nervous twice because I thought you were going overboard. But I had a accident and Injured my C7 spinal cord . My daughter got my 1983 CJ-7 with a V-8 and spring over on 36" bfg's. So I do my 4wheelin on KZread and I shared this video because I felt like I was there. Again great driving

He paid $1200 for the jeep and just added the 6" lift everything else is stock the tires and wheels I believe we're on it when bought.
