Werner Klemperer was actually a very fine actor and comedian. As I've heard, the majority of "Germans, " portrayed in Hogans Heroes were actually Jewish actors, as was Robert Clary, aka Corporal Louis LeBeau, who actually endured the nazi occupation of his homeland, France during WWII. How all these actors could come together on stage and make light of the ravages of War, Occupation, and the attempted GENOCIDE of Jews , and Gypsies, two of the most assimilatable wandering groups of peoples that God ever created, - is simply amazing to me! How actors like Clary, Klemperer, Crane, Dawson, and company created such unimaginably buffoonish characters, - hiding away the ruthlessly vicious, incredibly insane, despicably dishonorable, horrendously heretical, sardonically antisemitic, conspiratorially, undeservingly, apatheticly, insufficiently, DEVOID of ALL HUMAN LOGIC, REASON, OR EVEN A SINGLE ATOM

It was fillmed at the same time and on the same lot with the andy griffith show and gomer pyle USMC. The three sets were in site of each other and you could easily walk from one to the other.
In case anyone is interested, that airplane is called an Ercoupe and is correct for the WW2 timeframe. A German ME-109 or a FW-190 could have easily shot down that Ercoupe.

@@Admin-Kuni-6172 Maybe, but flying low, they'd have to get very close to such an outpost to be noticed. Covert insertions and extractions were done by Lysanders in a similar way; a Lysander takes more skill to fly than an Ercoupe, but can land in any old field that's operationally convenient.

“the ride of the valkyries” is Richard Wagner most iconic piece of music. Richard Wagner, a 19th century German Composer, was an antisemitic jerk whose music inspired the NAZIS. so much so, they made his music the party’s theme. Wagner also inspired pregoshin. so he named his militia group the Wagner group.

She was before her time.
