I was homeless, sleeping behind a Safeway barely holding onto my sobriety when one day I was anointed with oil and prayed over. That same day I was hired onto a high paying job, rented a motel room, and given work clothes and work boots. By the grace of God and his mercy I was given an opportunity that changed my life forever. When we put our whole trust and faith in Christ, he will give us the opportunity to do our end of it- and when we act accordingly with his teachings- that's where the miracle is able to happen.

This song hits home . I couldn't find work for about 6 months. I was getting by from donating plasma. Which was not a lot. Was living in a hotel for months. Any bit of money I got went to the hotel I couldn't save any. I wanted to give up so bad. So many times I thought of slitting my wrists. If it wasn't for my kids I wouldn't have given a damn about still trying .

Faith is believing like buckwheat

That suicidal scene and outreach really resonates with me as I've struggled trying to do my own will & at the same time somehow have God with me, which eventually leads me to frustration, spiritual afflictions, wrath & hate. But just today, confessing my sin for Christmas, was told to pray for humility. Then after practicing it inwardly, I felt like that can be the connection to be connected to the Holy Spirit, manifested in one another & even in those in sin who need a surrendered witness life. I always asked myself recently what can be the way to leave my pride behind without having to become someone I'm not all piously. But I see humility feels like a connection to the Holy Spirit & at the same time a partaking of the after life (like leaving this life behind) where many of our brothers are who though died in sin the mercy of God saved & await for us too! I've always seen the holy spirit in my dreams manifested in a brother or sister I'd known whom I knew were still living in sin, yet God would speak/be present through these people to let me know he's been with me & he's known my/our walks of life.
