    These are the only PWMs that I actually watch with zero skipping and full attention! I have so missed your Hobonichi videos and am so happy that you shared this one! Thank you! 🤩

    Oh, wow. That is such a nice thing for you to say! I appreciate it because sometimes I put content out and don’t really know how it lands. ☺️ I’m so happy to know that it’s being well received!! Thank you! ❤️

    My biggest pet peave is the black box with the black box with the month and the pink and red boxes for Sat & Sun. I never could stand them & was tired of covering them… (and I love color on my pages) - they always seem to clash - so I have gradually switched to Sterling ink for the banker slate - I’m in love! I tend to segment my vertical in a similar way or into a semi-dashboard. The dark boxes are ok in your design because of the pale colors that you use. Very pretty.

    You use the cousin so beautifully, Julie❤️ I adore how you segment the weekly, you’re able to track and schedule so much on those two pages. Forever my inspiration, dear friend❤️

    Love this layout. I have a wonderland 222 but in the A5 size and this is ideal!

    I've used the A5 Wonderland 222 before, and it's great, but I've learned that I really like the sidebar on the left hand page and full columns for Sat/Sun. :)

    You can also stamp first on scrap paper then straight onto the planner. The second generation stamp is much softer

    Thanks so much! That stamp is a super old one and no longer available! 😕 Studio L2E used to sell a set called On the Menu which had a similar little dinner plate, but I’m not sure that one is available either.

    Your setup is so lovely 😊 Have you ever tried chalk inks? The Versa Magic ones work well on the Hobonichi paper

  • @plan2create

    Yes I have, but I struggle because they seem "slippery" and I don't always have the patience to wait out their drying time. So, I just do my best with "dry-ish" dye inks. :)

    I am always curious about my step count, it often surprises me how many steps I feel I’ve done compared to the actual number. So excited I’ve got March-May monthly sticker & stationery kits from TPS (via a friend working in NY). Great you have a framework so you don’t need to overthink every week and just fill in

  • @plan2create

    I agree! I don’t pay attention to my step count throughout the day and sometimes it’s shockingly low, lol! Yay! Have fun with your TPS kits!! It is nice to keep the same structure. Also open to slightly tweaking it as my needs change. We’ll see!

    What value do you get from all the information tracking? I tried writing down the meals I eat, and other every day activities like exercising, sleep, etc.. But after a point it feels like a chore, and I don't glean any insights from all that data. I'm interested to hear how this information tracking has helped you, and if it actually added value to your life, and led to any epiphany.

  • @plan2create

    @plan2create

    3 ай бұрын

    Oh you’re right, it can feel like a chore but that’s why I’ve narrowed it down to a few things. For me, it’s enjoyable and doesn’t feel like work. I like to look back sometimes and see the meals we ate.. occasionally it will remind me to repeat something we enjoyed! If I’m feeling like a slug, I might look back and see how I’ve been moving my body consistently and it will motivate me to keep going. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I just like having the data there *in case* I need it but I only track a few things, so it doesn’t overwhelm me. Also, my steps and workouts are stored in an app, so I can catch up every few days. I’m not a slave to recording it every day.

    @@plan2create Makes sense thank you! I guess I'm just exhausted with work and other things, that I do not want to have another metric for productivity in the planner as well :D If you have ideas on how to use Hobonichi cousin for non-productivity/metrics etc, please share them.. I'm using my monthly as expenses tracker, which is useful to curb my takeout spending. I also use daily pages for journaling. It's my weeklies I dont know what to do - recently started using it as my ideal day wishlist, where i list down all things that I can't control I wish would happen today.
