Dude, I have always been a book sniffer! I used to love to go into our used bookstore just to smell the older books. 😅 Cute set-up, Erin. I am with you on Helen's stickers. I print my own from Etsy shops but TCMC stickers just make me happy 🙂

I love this setup. And I love smelling new books, magazines. When I was in Grammer school. Before they had printers. Way back in the 80s. I love when the teacher ran off new papers through the machine they used. I loved the smell of the toner they used them. It was awesome 😂

There is nothing better then the smell of new books. Even a new shiny catalog. Love it. And have always gotten weird looks for it. 😂 proud book sniffer here.

You are like a copy of me. All over the place but very organized and excited.

I also have two daughters and they both always and somehow sniff out my favourite and best craft/journal items and it has made it hard for me to hide/stash things and so I have learned that if I go and buy my things while they are at school then I’m able to stash/hide when I get home before my daughter (my oldest daughter lives with her father interstate) gets home and if I order anything online I hope it gets delivered before my daughter gets home but if my online order arrives while my daughter get home I allow her to open and I always buy something like washi tape for her to in my order so she doesn’t feel left out from the online order (my daughter loves washi tape more than stickers)

Just found your channel and I love this video. You were speaking right to me. I have always love planning but the last year I have dove head first into memory planning and creative planning/journaling. It’s been great to have a hobby again after so much time!

Hi, I’m so glad I found your channel. I have always tried to journal since I was a teenager . I don’t remember how I obtained my first “diary “ but it had precious moments on the cover. I would for years write in it now and then. We didn’t and don’t have stationary stores near me as a kid or now. II’m 60 now. I still consider myself new because I’m not faithful and of course feel guilty. Anyway I tried the HP for a while and it just didn’t click. Well this year I heard about the Hobo and was working it and I’m hoping it sticks. I found some helpful tips and plan on trying them out. I love Helen’s coffeemonsterz cove as well. I would love to meet her one day . Thank you for your video and listening to me ramble.

On the inside page where you put the little pocket is so cute. If it bothers you that it's a lil crooked just use a piece of washi tape to go all the way day on the side it will cover it up.

Nice job. I really love your videos. My word for 2024 is “appreciation”. It inspires me to look for the positive, reflect on it and show appreciation. It is a word I feel that is neglected. Have a beautiful day.

There is a lice prevention shampoo we use. It’s called “fairytales” and it’s in a red and white bottle.

I’m a book smeller and so is my husband. We feel alone in the fact that we both smell books, magazines, bibles, leathers, old books too. I’m glad to know we’re not alone. We found out early on after he seen me pick up the Bible he gifted me as I smelled the pages. 😂

I always randomly comment at points in the video but they have a repellent spray or just mix tea tree oil with water and spray her hair before she goes to school we had to deal with that before too and I finally found things that just stopped it

I was thinking the same. We have a spray called Fairy Rales Rosemary repel. You can get it at Target or Amazon. We dealt with a very similar situation right before Thanksgiving and I was super anxious. Still kind of am, even though everything has calmed down.. 😂. The spray helped though. The company has a preventative shampoo as well.

Let me know if you decide to go to New Orleans, that’s where we are originally from, we can recommend some amazing neighborhood restaurants and such! Try to stay away in July and August because of the heat and humidity LOL

Yes, creepy crawlies tend to trade off when middle and high school kids pile their jackets and hats together in the gym, cafeteria, etc. you might add a few drops of Tea Tree oil into the wash (natural deterrent - and either put a few drops of Tea Tree Oil in her/ their shampoo or get some Paul Mitchell Tea Tree oil Shampoo for them to use at least once per week… sorry I just recently found your channel, you probably needed those ideas 2 months ago!

Hi Erin, try not to roll your tape roller on top of tape you already have down, it will pull the roll and "ruin it" (it is fixable and you did it 😀) Loved the video!

My daughter totally smells paper and books ... I like to TOUCH the different papers, but only smell them sometimes. My daughter even selects her drawing suppies and sketchbooks by smelling them. So Yeah, not weird to me at all ....

Have you thought about something slightly different like the fleurir labs planner? It doesn't have the weeks pages like the a5 cousin does, but I've heard great things about it. I'm eyeing the Take a note a6 planner for 2025 for the weekly layout, as I already bought the Jibun Techo days for 2024. We're certainly spoilt for choice! I would love to know what planners you've used in the past.

​@snikrdoodls14 2023 I've only used HP planners and a Half letter planner/inserts. For 2024 I'll be using HP planners and a Passion Planner for school. I just found an Inamio Planner on Amazon that is similar to Hobonichi but it's $12. This way if I don't stick to it my budget won't feel it.

@@aliciamoore3940 Smart move starting with something you don't find too precious and worry being a waste of money if you don't use it. That's exactly what I did this year as my first time keeping a planner. Just got a cheap dot grid notebook and I'm now a planner addict! It's always difficult finding a balance between getting something you want to use, while also not getting something so nice that you don't want to use it! There's also so many indie brands that do wonderful products at a low price. Good luck on your 2024 planner journey!

Where did you get the little tabs with Monthly and Weekly written on it? I mean the ones you put on the top of the journal. Love them!

Does the normal A5 Moterm cover fit the Hon or do you need the A5+? I can't seem to find a clear cover in the Hon that is not sold out but also like the Moterm covers.
