Very clean mod. The thing I like about the Hobie cup holder is that it fits my big Thermo-Flask that keeps my water ice cold all day. It doesn't look like it would fit with this particular mod.

Yea probably not but you could always put a piece of bungee across the open side of the cup holder to keep it from falling over. Just an idea that might work better for you👍

Great video just installed it on my sons compass. One suggestion you may want to take some 220 sandpaper and scuff the kayak surface before you clean it will allow for a little better hold.

Kittery trading post has them online (442 button mount). Otherwise discontinued. I would grab them asap if you’re interested as they will not be making them any longer

Not really... at least not easily even then it may mess up the 3m pad by trying to remove it. I trailered mine on a 5 hour road trip on the second level rack and it didn’t come off. So I think it should be good.

Will a 32oz Gatorade fit?
