I think this is one of your best product reviews for people on a budget and want to improve their crawler. Hobbywing seems to be ahead of the competition. Great video.

I love my trx 6, it has the FOC, it's a beast.

I have the 1200kv in a capra based lcg with all stock capra gearing. 18t is about perfect, plenty of speed and punch. For 70$ it's a bargain, just use one of your 1080 program cards to program it. Use the manual as the settings on the card are different. For the same performance as 1800kv just up your pinion 1.5 times (12×1.5=18).

Thanks for the ideas sir. We bought a 1800kv Fusion SE and put it in my sons Stampede along with hub extensions, Trok SS tires on bead locks and it such a smooth crawled down low in 2S 2000mah. With a 3x 5000 it runs for almost 2 hours, and will back flip however the top speed is very tame still. Excellent budget crawler upgrade for any 4x4 chassis.

how do you think the 1200 would do in a capra fran ?.... seeing how its geared so high

I have a hobby wing SE on my rig AR44’s Stealth X with stock spur and a 12 t pinion on 3s even went down to 2s and it’s still to fast to crawl oh and a spektrum transmitter what can I do to slow down.

Sadly i have to say i had problems with the SE.The card nor the box over the usb tool would read or even programm the SE. The motor ran and worked in the car but without programming not useable. It has been send back to the dealer.

If you were hiking a trail would the lack of top speed be annoying?

What radio are you using?

What size battery is good to use for 1/12mn 128 crawler with 70dollar motor.

Hobbywing are going to be knocking it out the park with these at that price. I have quite a few of the “full fat” fusions and they really are excellent.

If you put the SE 1800kv in something like the new Phoenix RTR would you be able to add the dig and overdrive servos or lights? I’m guessing this would not work in that application.

I have it in my Phoenix rtr. You can certainly put your dig and OD in regardless of the motor. I had to trim ever so slightly a top link mount to get it in, but it was totally worth it. Easy to do.

What is the battery adapter the the hobbywing fusion se called? Im trying to find that adapter for the traxxas trx4 batteries.

Whats the stock bec on these will it do 7.4 and not fry the stock traxxas servos.

I have the RC4WD Marlan Crawler TF2. I'm hoping you are enjoying your truck. My self in retrospect I'm not sure if it was a good choice. But it is beautiful and very photogenic. Good luck with yours.

looks awesome but doesn't seem like enough wheel speed for me, il just have to get the fusion pro eventually.

Yes, there is a plastic nub (non-structural) that needs to be trimmed. 2 minute job with Dremel.

What does everyone think about putting the 1800kv in a brass brick TRX4 with the 2spd? I don't use 2nd gear a lot so I think I can afford to lose a couple mph, but it is nice to have. I just don't know if it would be too slow or overworked in a truck that weighs probably 13lbs if I upped the pinion a little from the 11T.

I just added this motor to an RGT 86190, heavy like the TRX4 with 2 speeds, the stock motor was too fast. Rig's 9.5 lbs, and the motor doesn't get hot at all, did a few tests! Not sure why I spent 300AUD on the Fusion Pro for my Capra! Its basically the same.

Here in the UK you can't find one for that price if they even have one can expect to pay over a $100 for the 1200kv version. 😡

The 1200 SE will be going in my RYFT...

God damn it, I was watching ODS do stupid shit with RC cars and now it’s popping up in my feed……

When you say cheap in your reviews it spoils the idea of purchase. More like inexpensive but not cheap ever lol 😮

Compared to other quality esc motor combos out there it is cheap, it’s all relative, the hobby isn’t “cheap” lol
