My replacement metal gears also came as plastic...waiting to hear back from AsiaTees....hopefully they will send me the right ones now!

i think a few ppl have had a surprise with the "plastic gears" instead of metal 1s.

I ordered the same part but got an email from Asia Tees saying they had been built wrong with plastic gears. Replacements are on the way.

I did already receive response from FairRC, Hobby Plus will send metal gears for free.

I’ve just received my replacement gearbox after stripping one of the plastics gears on day two of running the T Hunter , I was worried the replacement gearbox would also be fitted with plastic gears but to my relief they are metal so fitted it to the truck and it’s running perfect, so now to do some mods , thanks for your handy tips and advice you give out , keep building and modifying and stay safe mate 🇬🇧

I buy the complete transmission like you, and was mad, but AsiaTess check is wrong from Hobby Plus. Hobby Plus decide to send to all the buyers the metal gears, and mine are send from AsiaTess. You will get yours if you want, is much better to accept the offer, you can have the metal gear for the Rock Van

FairRC did already responde, Hobby Plus is sending replacements.

I just broke the gears in my rock van last week and ordered the metal. Good to know the transmission doesn't come with metal. Looking forward to seeing what shocks you do on the rock van. I feel that is the most lacking.

Would you happen to know if those metal gears fit the FMS FJ transmission?

No, they do not fit. Different central transmission, different axles.

Ja, gibt es. Findest du z.B. bei Fair RC.

Mine only has High Range! Switch to neutral stays in high, Switch to Low nothing vibrates barley turns ,and they Won't Replace it ...thanks Hobby plus 😠😟✌️🦅🦼🇺🇸

This is not the Evo - this is single speed. Check your 2-speed transmission, servo arm and check the pins in the transmission, that hold gears. Those sometimes slip out. Put the pin in again and best secure it with threadlock (strong/red).
