I really need to stop watching when you buy from Hobbii! Just ordered £100 of Yarn, and nowhere to store it. But it's so pretty!

I would pair that beautiful blue yarn with white. It will show the blues to their maximum. I think the white and blue would look very elegant summer beach retreat rather than winter. I love black but lately I just want lots of bright colors. It makes me happy to see light and bright.

Hey Crystal! I think that Mosaic blue would look best with white which would be extremely contrasting as opposed to the black dulling down the blue. Those butterfly combinations were Gorgeous! I wouldn't think those would look good but they look great! Thanks for sharing! Hugs! ❤️🇺🇸🦄🧚

Can't wait for a new stain glass in squares. Those colors are amazing. I have some yarn I way over bought when I did the polly stain glass. Sorry I can't begin to spell the word right but I'm sure you know what I mean. Mine won't be as pretty as I'll be using Red Heart Stripes polo and maybe a couple Bernat Pop if I need more yarn. See I knew what I was doing all along when I bought about 7 more skeins than I needed lol. When I screw up I do it right 😊

I really like the idea of pairing it with black. I think that would make the blue pop! Hobbii definitely has some gorgeous yarn, but I agree you've got to catch it on sale.

White, or the darkest black you can find. Charcoal wont be as contrasted or pop as much. White would seem winter or beach. ❤❤

I would pair it likely with white but that’s because it gives me beach vibes and I really want to go to the beach since it’s been a year. I live in the PNW and the coast is only about 2.5 hours away. Lovely yarn, I am always so tempted to buy more but I’ve done a ton of shopping the last few days. I always buy yarns from my goodwill & goodwill bin store.

I've been gatekeeping this recommendation, but there is a beautiful hand dying business that is closing due to retirement. It's called Zen yarn garden and everything is 50% off. They're Serenity base is beautiful, but everything I've gotten from them is gorgeous.

I think the black yarn would be beautiful with all the colors for a stain glass look. And I love the butterfly yarn. That Victorian looking one is my favorite, and it is very BOD looking.

Hi Crystal, I think I would tend to go white for the contrast colour for your blue blanket. There are some very dark colours in the yarn and would get lost with black, however would still making a stunning blanket. The carnival is super pretty, it doesn't frog well. Its soft and my project came out really nice.

I have used Premier Basix in charcoal so, I think that would be great for the mosaic. Your side light is working great for the colors! That Carnival #11 looks like a rose in the skein 🌹 I like that they have a photo gallery. I would pair the gorgeous blue marled yarn with charcoal. I just can't picture it with white! You really picked out some beautiful yarns Crystal! I wish I had more space to store more yarn, lol! I like Premier yarn on the whole! They have some really nice quality yarn and decent sales. Their DK weights, cottons and cotton blends are so nice. The Premeir Basix is superb. I would pair the blue in a mosaic with white. I think black would not give enough contrast with the dark blue, thus not giving enough definition for the pattern to show up. On the other hand, if you want the design to fade in and out, use the black. With your huge rose, green guy and white, I think you need 2 more colors. Definitely black and also a soft gold. By soft gold I mean a muted gold, an antique looking gold.

Those Car nival yarns are so gorgeous! Such beautiful saturated clear colors.

White would highlight the specific blues & greens in that yarn - as well as the subtle nuances of the color changes. I think black would mute the darker differences in the yarn... just my opinion though. Looking forward to whatever you create !!!
