Horn of Africa TV: Indeed, it is a very inspiring project🙂. However, from my experience working as an architect in the West and in the Middle East specializing in the tourism sector, what I have witnessed over and over again is... poorly planed projects that have "amusement park" theme and that do not attract foreign tourists (specialy Western tourists). The developers of this project should have given more attention to the decaying historical cities and buildings in Asmara and Massawa, and restore them to their glorious condition. You see, tourists are looking for a real ancient and authentic architectural sites and ambiance with a good infrastructure and excursions, but not an isolated amusement park.

If the aim of this group is to produce buildings that would be reflective of our architectural heritage, should they not aim at restoring and carefully reproducing in codified styles the art and architecture of ancient Axum? It is our own past, after all, that should serve us as a reference point and fountain of authority and authenticity. At least in my vision our state (which is nothing more than a post colonial polity) should serve as a repository of everything that is distinctive about ancient Axum, from Adulis to Lalibela, within the context of a society that would be growing and changing greatly.

One of the design seems a duplicate of "Addis Ababa Icon tower" which is under construction. A traditional food table "mosseb".

It could be done 30 Years, but Eritreans Not allowed to them so !!! Sad!!!!!! Are they paid, the Young workrs????

Is it possible to contribute to Eritrea, while not supporting the government/regime? My humble question

@@ancharotube7658 like how, I mean do I have any guarantees that the government will not nationalise my investment by assessing that I'm not member of the NYPFDJ or other group. I'm interested in agricultural activities as I believe self reliance is a backbone of economic growth for Eritrea. And I see one fruitful agricultural sector that can easily exploited. Anyone, who has knowledge or experience on how to deal with the Eritrean government?

The question is how do you get the permit to invest. I suggest you better discuss with the people close by or the embassy. I wish you good luck and success.

What do you mean by supporting the government/regime ? First off all are you Eritrean by birth? If not, there's an office for foreign investment policy like any other country, you can contact them, or there are other foreigners already started like one Italian clothes factory so you can get a feedback from them.
