Chris-thanks so much for doing this (for me!!!),I really appreciate you taking the time to show and explain how to correctly make this hook-up panel to attach the DD505 to the track- now it makes sense! Happy Motoring!

I love the Auto World adjustable volt powerpack. Definitely a game changer. This Defalco controller takes that to yet another level. Excellent video on setting this up! I only race my grandkids other than running my cars myself so at least for now the powerpack adjustment will do me fine! Thanks again!

Nice setup Chris, good way to do it. FYI the DD505 can only really run HO cars well, you would not want to use it to run 1/24 or 1/32 scale cars. Would love you you to visit and come race on my track.

I would use butterfly nuts provided you make the block slightly larger 9:05

Great video! May I ask if there should be a fuse or circuit breaker installed in the line before reaching the controller, or would the DiFalco DD505 be able to handle it whenever the AW power supply is turned to the full 24 volts?

@@All-ScaleSlotCars the DiFalco should handle 24vdc just fine without a fuse.

@@Blueridgeracing859 That's great to know, thank you for getting back with me about this. I've seen HO videos where people installed fuses and was curious if it was really necessary for 24 volts maximum. Thanks again!

Hey Chris, what would happen if you hooked the alligator clips up the opposite way to the screws?

  • @Blueridgeracing859

Hey Denny, great question. The car on that lane will run constantly without any input from the controller if you switch the wire clips.
