the song is built from the literary works that taught in high school curriculum in VietNam.There are many works incorporated into this song .especially the characters in works have unfortunate fates ,they were oppressed by feudal colonialism . and the character "Mi" is the storyteller.The song expresses the desire to live a happy life, the desire to change the fate, the desire to control the destiny Sorry my English is bad .Thank you

For understanding of this super song you must understand about some super classical of VN's literature in 1930-1945s. Such as "Vợ nhặt- wife picked-up", "Lão Hạc - Hac uncle", "Chí Phèo - drunk man", "Số Đỏ - Lucky destiny", " Vợ Chồng A Phủ- A Phu wife and husban Couple". It was combined all of them in this music production with Protagonist is name Mỵ (A Phu's wife). (Sorry my English not well so i only could explain by simple words but actually its mean more exciting than that!!!)

In fact, the footage in that MV is the story in Vietnamese literature that the director added to make it lively like the old feudal times.

Just to explain to those who are not Vietnamese, the images in this MV come from famous Vietnamese literary circa 1945. 1945-1947 was a time when Vietnam was still very poor, and the literary shows many very unhappy lives. In this MV, Mị (the main character) appeared in the crucial moments to save them from that misfortune.

Tóm tắt nhé chứ dịch 9p có mà chết :v 1. Bảo ông thầy là pháp sư hay gì mà thở 1 câu học sinh ngủ hết thế :v 2. Khen trang phục cổ truyền với làng bản dân tộc Việt Nam đẹp 3. Đoạn “Thương cha xót mẹ nhưng mặc phận đời mình ...” đại khái là đồng ý với HTL là dù chăm sóc và báo hiếu cha mẹ là rất quý và đáng trân trọng nhưng ngược lại từ phía cha mẹ thì họ cũng k muốn mình cứ quanh quẩn bên cha mẹ đến tận khi họ mất, nên là cứ tận hưởng cuộc sống đi (vẫn chăm sóc cha mẹ nhưng đừng tự trói buộc mình). 4. Trong khi ngta cũng post video liên tục, nhìn view ngta đi, ngta có quan tâm đến view ko ? Nhạc thì cũng có thể loại này, thể loại kia, nghe hoài 1 thể loại có chán ko ? Đến cơm ăn hoài còn chán, phải đổi phở bún thì nhạc cũng thế thôi
