my father served on victorious to the far east,i think he left her in 1965 or 66 when he went to yeovilton

My Grandad was on this ship in the Battle of the Atlantic

Probably the most capable carrier we had in 1967.

@@admiralmallard7500Eagle was hardly much better. Their hangars were still a little small for the coming aircraft of the time. Kind if why canceling the Malta-class in favor of modernizing WW2 carriers was a bad idea

Hearing the name Derrick Whitehead, makes me think of Derek Wildstar. Did they do that on purpose? Lol.
