This is a song that fits Hood really well, sounding majestic, alongside her fateful demise.

She defend her sea, she protect and she attack those who dare stand against her. But fate and time, she defeat against the Bismarck. She defeated but with pride, she never back down from the fight.

You made the best Minecraft Cinematic video right above Square Media (former Black Plasma Studio) according to my opinion. Innalilahi wa Inna ilaihi Raji'un for the crew of HMS Hood and the ship herself. Even if I have a large amount of hatred against most European countries (UK included), their people and soldiers still got my respect.

RIP, HMS Hood, and her fallen crew. However, I like to add this. The shell that hit the Hood was actually from the side, not the top, where most people theorizes and was repeated over and over again in history, the battle take place at 14 kilometers or 9 miles which is fairly close in naval combat, not only that but the deck armor was not sacrificed for speed, it is fairly well armored. Here’s the video. kzread.info/dash/bejne/nI2l1KSciJDMZc4.htmlsi=lra6pZI7SW492m9U

That is incorrect on all accounts rear Admiral Chatfield in 1920 after Hood was commissioned had grave concerns about her Armour distribution and effectiveness he didn't think she was adequately armored against her own caliber gun the Royal Navy and Admiral Cunningham had similar concerns in 1938 and the Royal Navy concluded that her armor system was anemic she was not set up for modern main battery of artillery. You can't make the statement that her armor was effective given that she was destroyed the deck armor was sacrificed for Speed it wasn't even an inch thick in multiple Arenas and the Royal Navy's own repository at the National Archives at kew confer that that's irrefutable no matter what information from whatever source that you have they don't supersede the Royal Navy and Clyde and brown that built the ship and operated it you can't say definitively Hood was hit from the side and rather the poorly Armor Deck because we don't have an intact wreck site to do definitive forensics end of story bismarck's 15 inch shell penetrated hoods magazine causing a catastrophic explosion and the Royal Navy is the ultimate Arbiter of their vessel not authors and historians who are subjective in their opinion you can't say what actually happened because you were not there. Hood demonstrated the failure and flaw of battlecruisers the Admiral class series of battlecruiser were fundamentally flawed from the beginning and the Royal Navy knew it and admitted it if her armor was comparable and effective then why would the Royal Navy have made several attempts and requests to overhaul and enhancer for modern plunging fire she was adequately armored against her own caliber gun and they knew that in 1920 and knew it again in 1938 and most certainly when the ship exploded end of story.

@@TheDogGeneral I’m just saying it’s not like, I say this is correct or not. An observation from multiple historians and report. I do respect your opinion though. This is just an opinion and just to share what I thought. I’m not that serious. If you wish I can take down this comment. ขอโทษดวยครับ

@@vjutt likewise and fair enough but I'm just saying for the record historians are ultimately have a burden to report factual information things that of a certain subject were said during the era and conclusively Hood's armor system was obsolete by 1940 it was outdated when the ship was commissioned there's been a few people that have touted Siegfried breyer Nathan Okun just to name a few but the problem with them is they are highly subjective and opinionated and they I have no affiliation with the actual warship so their opinions don't extend beyond an academic theorem. But just for academic purposes I will tell you I went to the National Archives and fall of 2014 and me and my whole delegation got to see original documents pertaining to hood maintenance reports statistical information but one thing that was outlined was by 1938 the Royal Navy had serious concerns and had submitted multiple times would needed to be brought in for an overhaul. She was highly susceptible to plunging fire and sadly they're just a great scope of folks in the conversation the day that like to pretend Hood was a battleship and her demise is somehow divorced from her design flaws LOL there was a guy the other day that literally said Hood's armor system was the very best if that was true then she would have prevailed and she didn't.

Historically inaccurate Hood was not the largest warship in the world during her lifetime the USS Lexington was she doesn't even have the most powerful broadside of the era than the Gatos did with their 16.1 inch guns powerful and aggressive? She was an admiral class battle cruiser not a full-fledged Battleship the Royal Navy never once called her a battleship ever in their classifications of her and regardless of terminology there is no surviving documentation or proof either by Clyde and brown who built her or the Royal Navy that operated her that she was ever intended to fight against another enemy capital ship the hood was a counterpart to the German mackenson series of battle Cruisers she was meant to contend with those not in a firefight of attrition so powerful she second-rate add aggressive hardly she was never once used as a battleship in her entire career every successful operation with the hood involved had a fleet adjacent to her I have the opinion that hood was an outdated Relic that should have been converted into an aircraft carrier instead she got her entire crew killed
