It's easy to criticize the fans but if only you were there to witness such an intense game you would understand, and would've been part of the wave hahaahaha

i have to say that the crowd beats team cali...i was talking to one of the team cali player and he said that this crowd gets to them mentally, especially when they're all drunk. one moment, they'll be celebrating in your face and then they'll offer you a beer...heard someone even threat #2 for team cali when he spike the ball and it hit that person's beer...crazy

You see my whole point isn't about shutting the crowds . I'm talking about how they're all up in the court regardless if the game was going on or not . And don't get me wrong I'm a volleyball player myself , and when someone that doesn't belong in my territory steps in , I feel like that's disrespectful and rude . One guy out of the Cali guy might not think that but the rest might . You don't know if the guy is hot temper or not I've seen it happen once even though it wasn't a real game .

You obviously don't know what you're talking about. Even if Cali fans were there, it would still have been the same. Never have there been a fight between fans in "volleyball" even in Minnesota where one of the biggest tournaments occur with teams from all over the states. One of the Cali guys said he enjoyed the cheers from WI fans, because it isn't like that in Cali and like you mentioned, there would be fights. The chest pumps were influenced by the energy and intensity of this game.

Leave the fighting to soccer volleyball is not a dirty sport like that and to shut the crowd all Cali had to do was nail the balls down like they was doing.
